Yeah I thought the victory was that she was still conscious, and passing out would be losing. Also, the fact her dad's embrace after she won didn't bear her weight was a pretty big clue that they wouldn't pull her out now ^^

I really love the idea of games/challenges where death is the prize for victory ^^
