"Now I'm asking for a volunteer for the last show!" announced the world-famous magician.
Eleven-year-old Michael jumped up from his chair and raised his hand. His father, sitting next to him, tried to pull him back, but the boy was too eager.
The magician's eyes scanned the audience, then held out his hand.
"The boy in the blue shirt in the fifth row! Please come on stage!" he told.
Michael couldn't believe how lucky he was. He grabbed his father's hand and pulled him up to the podium.
"Hello! What's your name?" asked the magician.
