I had a dream about a song by Kagamine Rin and Len. It features hanging, but surprisingly it's actually more drama rather than comedy. Kinda like Daughter of Evil / Servant of Evil.
So, first in the MV we see a close up of Len and Rin facing each other (we can see Len's sad and condolent face, and we only see the back of Rin's head) and a noose between them.
Len sings something to the effect of: listen, I also don't want you to put that noose on.
At first it sounds like he's talking her into hanging herself, which somehow has to be done despite neither of them wanting it.
But then the camera moves further away and it's revealed it's a public execution, Rin is a princess and she's actually putting the noose on Len. It isn't stated what his crime is, probably something against the state if the princess herself has to execute him. They're most likely not related in this story, but what they are is they're actually secretly in love with each other. I don't remember any particular lyrics of this part, or if there were any.
When Len already has a noose on his neck and Rin is facing the crowd, Len sings: "You smiled to me with your hand" as the camera shows Rin clasping Len's hand behind her back to comfort him. I would've never thought of such a metaphor while being awake, but now I kinda like it, ha-ha. Rin sings with a smirk: "you owe me one". Len returning a smirk: "wiggled out, you rascal".
And then the song ends with hanged Len with a peaceful expression on his face, as his voice is singing: and I had the most peaceful sleep.
Now, the "you owe me one" / "wiggled out, you brat" part sounds confusing, but here's what I think partially based on what it vaguely felt to mean in the dream and partially on trying to interpret it to make sense, and maybe partially by drawing some parallels to Daughter of Evil / Servant of Evil, as this dream feels like it could be inspired by those songs. So, apparently Rin means that Len will owe her one for the comfort she gave him in his last moments by clasping his hand. And by this she "wiggled out" of their situation, as by making him owe her he's now obliged to return so he can pay her back, like maybe through reincarnation or some such. Although there's no indication if they actually believe in it, so it might just be their way of finding comfort and somewhat even turning it all into a mischief (now that last part sounds more like the twins from my stories, ha-ha).
