one problems is that if they ate at home it is hard to explain how they get cut like that. even if in theory it is possible if something falls on them

I think it would be more reasonable if they are having sex in some abandoned house instead and something breaks there

Also it may be even nice is Sarah is a virgin who is now not only frustrated that she will die but that she will never have orgasm again. which gives her extra motivation

since she they know that they are going to die anyway they are trying to get the best of the situation.

Not sure about what your mean eating there lower halves, like literally eating or that other kind of eating
as obviously they can't eat it all maybe just some small piece.
