I think "like a twelve year old" comes across as really harsh, Aoi, but what it DOES specifically remind me of is "Young Adult" fiction. Which is mostly written for twelve-year-olds, at least on paper, but not *by* them.

Anyway, I guess that's my criticism there. But YA is quite popular, even if dystopian YA is on the wane for a few years now, so that's not necessarily awful?
