Great new story! I enjoyed the different perspectives of the scenes, and of course the brave and cocky yet stoic nature of Julie. Her confrontation at the end with the last killer was fun, classic Julie. Just talking smack and almost jokingly with her killer even while she's being plugged full of bullets. She underestimates herself calling herself an "NPC", only the main character would be as die hard as Julie, hehe...

Maybe she just needs to believe more in her own ability to survive. Never give up! After all, she was so close to getting away. After reading it, I had an idea on how to extend this / build upon the scene.

I think it would've been awesome if Julie was still alive and struggled for long enough for the cops to arrive. Thinking: "Huh, she really did know the number..."

Then the killer would've used Julie's body as a shield against the cops, threatening to kill her. The cops make a decision, thinking there's no way Julie is going to survive her extensive injuries anyway. Obviously this would end up with Julie getting blasted by the cops, getting properly riddled with bullets, but only hitting the killer once in the shoulder or something. During the shootout, the killer manages to dispatch off the few cops that arrived, and go to patch his wound up. Noticing that Julie is remarkably still clinging onto life somehow, he threatens her to help him patch up his wound and escape, otherwise he would kill her.

At that point, Julie still wanting to live another day, has no hope but to help the killer, despite her condition. Extending her suffering and hopeless situation. Even though there's obviously no way she's going to get out of this situation, she still stubbornly refuses to give up, holding onto some fantasy idea that she could survive. Truly pushing the limits of her incredible willpower and die hard tenacity, perhaps just to crack more jokes at the killer's expense before her world turns to black forever.
