Yes,I remember that story as well, it was a fun one. I guess I was unconsciously thinking of that one, it's a similar idea. Although I think it could be expanded upon. And yeah, your Julie would obviously make for an excellent meat shield in a hostage situation like that. Might even live long enough to start getting the inkling of some messed up Stockholm Syndrome, who knows, maybe the killer has good humor.
