(3/4)
Hermione, ever the pragmatic intellectual, stepped forward. Her eyes meticulously swept over each student, her gaze lingering on a few faces with a subtle, critical intensity. "Stunning and binding are all well and good," she began, her voice crisp and authoritative. "But magic isn't always at your disposal. Sometimes, you need… direct application of force."
She raised her hand, clenching it into a tight, compact ball. "This," she announced, "is called a fist."
A murmur rippled through the assembled students. Many of the witches and wizards stared, utterly bewildered, as if Hermione had just presented them with a sock and declared it a formidable weapon. Lavender Brown tittered softly. Fred and George exchanged bemused glances. Amidst the rising tide of confusion a slender figure detached itself from the crowd. Luna, with an almost childlike grace, stepped lightly into the cleared space. Her eyes, wide with innocent curiosity, found Hermione's and her ethereal voice, a delicate thread of sound, broke through the murmuring. "A fist? What is it for, Hermione? Does it ward off Wrackspurts?"
Hermione listened to Luna's words, shaking her head in a small, almost imperceptible gesture of resigned disbelief. Her gaze remained steady but a subtle tension entered her shoulders. "No, Luna, it doesn't ward off Wrackspurts," she explained, her voice entirely matter-of-fact. "You use it to hit people. To 'punch' them. You can use either hand, of course, and you simply aim for any vulnerable spot—the jaw, the gut, the temple." With abrupt precision she drew back her fist and drove it forward, a calculated blow that connected squarely with Luna's delicate jaw.
The crack was sharp and audible, echoing in the sudden, astonished silence of the Room. Luna's head snapped back with shocking force, her pale hair flying, her body staggering. A collective exhalation rose from the onlookers, a sound of utter fascination and profound disbelief. They all leaned forward, their eyes riveted as if witnessing a raw, unfamiliar display of power utterly foreign to their understanding of magic. Slowly Luna's head reoriented itself and a thin crimson line traced its way down from her split lip. But Luna's eyes, unfocused and distant, held not pain, but a disquieting, almost academic fascination. She touched her lip with a tentative finger, staring at the blood. Her voice was a dreamy murmur, "Oh… so that's what 'punch' means. How… fascinating."
Building on her lesson Hermione moved to illustrate the next principle of direct force. "And you can use your feet too. Like this!" Without warning her leg shot out in a swift powerful kick. The sole of her foot connected with Luna's outer thigh; Luna's leg buckled, causing her to stumble backward, lose her footing and collapse amidst the watching students. For a stunned moment she lay crumpled, but then her awareness reasserted itself and she began to push herself upright, one hand instinctively covering the point of impact.
"Now, it's crucial for you all to grasp the practicalities of this, and the only way to truly learn is to try it out for yourselves. Go on, experiment! Use your fists and feet to explore where the greatest effect can be achieved," Hermione commanded, her voice ringing with cold authority.
The instruction hung in the air, a distinct challenge. A few students, still contemplating the concept, hesitated. But others, perhaps intrigued by the brutal simplicity or egged on by Hermione's casual command, began to close in. There was no line, just a hungry, curious surge, and Luna, still reeling from the kick, offered no resistance. Her wide innocent eyes saw the first student, a burly Hufflepuff, wind up and slam his fist into her stomach. HNNGGH!
Winded, a brutal kick next caught her in the shin, sending a tremor through the bone. SKREE-UNCH! Fists rained down on her arms, her back, her ribs. THWACK-CHUMP-CRACK! A sound, half gasp, half sob, tore from Luna, a raw cry that seemed to unravel her usual distant calm. She stumbled and fell to her knees, but the assault didn't cease. Instead more joined in, their boots and fists a relentless, thudding rhythm against her fallen body.
"Please, stop!" Luna whimpered, her delicate features contorting in a mixture of pain and bewildered politeness. Tears streamed down her cheeks, her breath catching in ragged sobs. "Could you… could you slow down? It really hurts."
But her pleas were swallowed by the grunts and heavy breathing of her attackers. The students, spurred on by sheer momentum, seemed deaf to her words. A dull ache blossomed into searing pain with every strike. Ribs groaned under the relentless pressure of kicks, and a sharp crack reverberated through her skull as a fist connected with her temple, sending the world tilting violently. Her breath hitched, thin, ragged gasps escaping her lips, as her fragile body jerked with each strike, a helpless puppet on cruel strings. Where hands and feet struck, the pale canvas of her skin began to rapidly blossom with angry, dark welts and purple-green bruises, spreading like ink.
The sheer number of bodies pressing in intensified, creating an unmanageable, suffocating mob around her. Every angle offered a fresh, unique agony: the sharp edge of a shoe catching her jaw with a hard clack, a brutal stomp on her splayed fingers, the force of a fist driving into the small of her back, momentarily paralyzing her lungs. The mob's movements became a relentless blur around her, delivering a savage, unceasing volley of brutal kicks and jarring blows, consuming her in a frantic, uncoordinated maelstrom. She was engulfed, lost in the churning mass, her own desperate whimpers swallowed by the roar of the frenzied activity. Her cries grew louder, more frantic, a desperate, rising keen that spoke of utter agony, echoing the wild, unthinking momentum of the beating.
From the periphery, Hermione's voice cut through the clamor, sharp with annoyance. "You're crowding her, you lot! You can't all get a good shot in at once! You need to let others get a chance!" Her eyes scanned the room, bypassing the frantic activity, until they snagged on a quiet pocket near a pillar. There, utterly absorbed in Harry instead of the lesson, was Cho Chang. She was leaning in close, a soft, inviting smile playing on her lips, her fingers lightly tracing the curve of his arm. Their gazes locked, holding a universe of their own, and Cho's lips, already soft and parted, were beginning their slow, inevitable descent towards his.
Before she could finish the intimate gesture Hermione's arm shot out. Her hand clamped onto the back of Cho's shirt, just below her neck, and with a swift, powerful yank, she ripped Cho away from Harry, pulling her roughly into the open space. "Here," Hermione announced, her voice flat, devoid of any sympathy for the startled girl. "You can use Cho too. Let her learn something today." And with a forceful shove she sent the delectable Eastern doll sprawling towards the hungry crowd.
"Oh, um, no, Hermione, I think I've, uh, got it. I understand the concept, really--" Cho began, already trying to sidestep, to find an escape route through the suddenly avid faces of her classmates. But before she could take a second, hopeful step, a clenched fist slammed into her jaw, sending a searing bolt of white-hot pain through her teeth and up into her skull. Her head snapped sideways as she stumbled backward, directly into the waiting arms of another student who immediately drove a dreadful, breathless punch deep into her gut. Air exploded from her lungs in a choked gasp, and she doubled over, her vision swimming with black spots.
She was trapped, caught in a closing circle of students, like a human shuttlecock batted back and forth between their eager hands. Each time she reeled from a blow another student caught her, not to support, but to propel her back into the ceaseless fray with a fresh assault. A brutal kick landed on her thigh, heavy and bruising, followed by a punishing fist to her ribs, then a vicious shove that sent her sprawling into the arms of a boy who yanked hard and indiscriminately on her skirt. The fabric shrieked in protest, ripping up the side, exposing the smooth curve of her hip and a shocking flash of white underwear. Hands, rough and quick, began to tear at her clothes. Her jumper was ripped from her shoulders, wool stretching and breaking, leaving her blouse clinging precariously before it too was shredded. One moment she was struggling, the next, the cool air hit her bare skin and her breasts were exposed to the surrounding gazes. A communal groan of anticipation went through the male students, their eyes gleaming.
Hands, seemingly from every direction, were on her, a confusing, violating blur of touch. They seized her breasts, squeezing them roughly, kneading them. Fingers pinched her nipples, twisting them until fresh tears of pain and mortification sprang to her eyes. She tried to cross her arms, to cover herself, but each attempt was met with a new shove, a new grab, forcing her arms down, keeping her exposed. Tears streamed down Cho's face, blurring the faces that surrounded her. "Harry! Harry, please, help me!" she screamed, her voice cracking with terror, but her desperate pleas were drowned out by the sounds of her tormentors, who only intensified their assault. The circle tightened, a swirling vortex of relentless, invasive assault. Bruising touches and violating grabs consumed her as lecherous fingers explored every sensitive curve of her naked body and fresh blows rained down, jolting her with each impact.
Meanwhile Harry's gaze had lingered on Hermione. "Couldn't you have waited? I wasn't done with her yet," he grumbled, his voice a low, aggrieved murmur. He scrubbed the back of his hand across his lips, and a sharp, choked cry, accompanied by the unmistakable rending of fabric from nearby, punctuated his aggrieved sigh.
"Waited?!" Hermione's jaw clenched, a vein pulsing faintly in her temple. Her voice was low, laced with an almost desperate plea for him to comprehend. "The Ministry is actively hunting Dumbledore, twisting every truth, and Death Eaters are striking with impunity, causing chaos and fear in the Muggle world. We're all fighting for our lives, for our very survival, and you're worried about your next snog?" A visible deflation settled over Harry, enough to momentarily temper Hermione's outrage.
Despite the crowd's main focus shifting to Cho's tantalizing form, Luna's torment had merely diminished, never truly ceasing. The earlier, frenzied barrage she had been suffering was now less intense, as many of her tormentors peeled away for the new entertainment. Still, a particularly heavy boot had found its mark on her head, an unsettling crack that echoed through the room. The reduced, yet still brutal, kicking continued for a few more agonizing seconds as a final, lingering cruelty. Then, slowly, hesitantly, the remaining students began to pull back, their breathing ragged, their faces flushed with a strange mix of exertion and dawning, morbid curiosity.
Luna lay still, her body a broken, pulpy mess. Her beautiful, expressive eyes were now vacant, one drifting listlessly, while the other seemed to fixate on an invisible, distant point. Her mouth, too, was askew, one side drooping, giving her a permanently lopsided, almost comical expression. But her skull, precisely where the boot had landed, had fractured not just a crack, but a jagged, horrifying fissure. A slow, viscous ooze, pale pink and grey, began to well from the wound, mixing with her blood and matted hair. The students, rather than recoiling in terror, stared with rapt attention, a strange, clinical interest in the macabre sight. Some even edged closer, trying to get a better view of the unprecedented spectacle of exposed gray matter.
And yet impossibly her lips moved. A faint, dreamy whisper, slurred and distorted, escaped them, her voice filled with a disquieting, otherworldly calm. One eye, the right one, twitched, then slowly, slowly, rolled to gaze unfocusedly at the students gathered around her. "Oh, look," she murmured, her voice thin, almost joyful, "the Nargles are finally getting their due. All these little brain-bubbles… how very… squishy. I suppose I won't be needing this anymore." Her gaze, however, slowly dragged itself past the fascinated faces until it landed on Cho Chang. She was suspended, a frail, trembling mass, while the gathered students brutally violated her, her naked body covered in blood and bruises. "How… beautiful," Luna sighed, a soft, almost reverent sound. Her hand, trembling, found its way to her panties, now visible through her torn skirt, and she began to rub herself, a slow, gentle motion, her glazed eye fixed on Cho's unfolding defilement.
Her fellow Ravenclaw was a broken puppet, held suspended between two figures. Their cruel grip beneath each armpit was the only thing keeping her upright. Her legs dangled, useless, her body a dead weight of defeat. She had no fight left and only a low, guttural keen escaped, forced from her by the sheer, unendurable pain she was in. Around her other tormentors shuffled, a restless, hungry tide, some wiping their hands, their eyes fixed on the raw display. Below her bruised, smeared torso, her inner thighs were soaked in a viscous, dark red. A horrifying quantity of blood oozed from her pussy, which was visibly swollen and raw, stretched in a manner no lover's touch would achieve. The sheer volume of the discharge spoke of brutal, internal damage likely inflicted by a fist, a tearing far beyond the simple loss of innocence.
"Alright, that's enough, you lot," Hermione's voice cut through the heavy air, a note of crisp authority.
At the sound of that voice, a voice that had often brought an end to chaos and corrected misguided intentions, the hands supporting Cho Chang abruptly vanished, abandoning her to gravity. Her battered body crumpled bonelessly into the widening puddle of her own dark, flowing blood. Her one open eye, swollen and blurry, lifted, trying to focus on Hermione's approaching figure. In its depths, a fragile ember of hope glimmered, a desperate, silent plea for an end to the torment.
Hermione stepped forward, her eyes scanning Cho's battered form. She pulled something from the inner pocket of her robes. It was a simple, ordinary Muggle kitchen knife, its blade glinting innocently under the magical lights.
"What's that, Hermione?" Ron asked, peering at it curiously. "Are you going to chop up some potion ingredients?"
A small, unsettling smile played on Hermione's lips. "Not today," she said, her voice soft but clear. "This is a knife. And just as blades can chop up potion ingredients, they can also… chop up people."
That fragile ember of hope within Cho was instantly, brutally extinguished. Her remaining eye widened, the glimmer replaced by a stark, dawning terror that swallowed the pupil whole. She didn't move, couldn't move, but the sheer, raw horror was writ large across her bruised and bloodied face.
A ripple of confusion passed through the other students. Chop up people? They seemed to be trying to reconcile the mundane object with such a fantastical notion.
Hermione raised the knife, her eyes distant, as if concentrating. She muttered a brief, almost inaudible incantation as a ripple of shimmering magic passed over the blade. The knife seemed to stretch, to swell, growing impossibly long and wide. In her hand was now a magnificent, two-handed executioner's sword, its edge wickedly sharp, catching the light with a cold, malevolent gleam.
The sudden transformation drew gasps of genuine awe at the raw power of the transfiguration. Hermione gripped the hilt, her stance firm, her eyes fixed on the prone form of Cho. In turn Cho's wide, terrified eye, locked onto the monstrous blade, saw it rise, saw it shimmer, saw the reflection of her own imminent doom in its polished steel.
With a swift, decisive motion, Hermione brought the massive blade downward. The sword arced, a whistle of displaced air preceding its terrible descent. The blade struck with a heavy thud and immediately a fresh fountain of arterial blood erupted from Cho's neck, painting the lower half of Hermione's robes in a gruesome, crimson spray. Cho's head, severed with brutal precision, began to tumble across the polished floor.
And then, as if drawn by some morbid magnetic pull, the severed head spun to a ghastly halt, just inches from Luna's lopsided, fixed stare. Luna's vision, already glazed and distant, widened ever so slightly as it locked onto the sight of the bloody, disembodied head. A shudder ran through her broken body and a soft, guttural moan escaped her lips—a sound of pure, raw, brain-damaged pleasure. Her hand, still rubbing at her wet panties, spasmed once, twice, then she arched her back, a silent, blissful climax tearing through her ravaged form. A final, shuddering tremor ran through her, then her body went slack. The strange, distorted smile on her lips remained, frozen in death.
As the last gushes of blood began to pool around the headless body, a low, familiar metallic click echoed through the now-silent chamber. The students, having learned their lesson well, recognized the sound. Without a word, they instinctively scattered, making way for the twin sections of floor beneath Luna and Cho to swing open with a soft, well-oiled groan, revealing the dark chutes below.
With barely a sound, the broken, violated bodies of Luna Lovegood and Cho Chang vanished into the depths, destined for the same consuming fate as those who came before them. As their forms disappeared into the chasm the bloodied floor panels that had just opened retracted with a whisper of hydraulics, sliding swiftly into hidden recesses beneath the main floor. Almost immediately two fresh, gleaming panels slid smoothly and silently into their former positions, pristine and unblemished, leaving no trace of the recent carnage.
