I quite like the Sleeping Beauty story but I would say that it reads more like a summary of events rather than an actual story. There's very little getting to know the characters and the sexy parts are told from a different perspective and isn't quite as intimate as I would have preferred.

Similar to your snakes story, I believe you were trying to avoid making a giant epic? I wouldn't know how to work around that, but still I'd need a reason to identify/care for these characters so I can be afraid for Aurora's safety and celebrate the end of the evil Queen.

Some lore might also greatly help your story. Why is eating girlmeat so accepted? It could just be a simple line about a previous famine or simply that they're delicious. You can also point out the culinary differences between the two kingdoms. Maybe one prefers roast whole girl while the other prefers parted meat in elegant dishes. And the divine taste of girl meat helped calm tensions and promote a scene of friendship.
