Oh, a new butcher story with that idea sounds amazing to me! Incidentally, Sole Food was one of my favorite Edward Hyde stories. But I do wish there could have been additional focus on the girl's fillet at the end and that the butchering process was a bit more sensual. But the option for the protagonist to watch the process as if it was a normal thing was a nice touch.

You're right about mass produced industrial butchering though, of course. There are many stories of this where it's well done, but none in the Sydney Universe, I think.

Incidentally, there is an Anime called the Promised Neverland which aligns quite nicely with Edward Hyde's stories. I would recommend it for someone who likes this genre.
