I just love it when I get such long and detailed comments. There's nothing more rewarding for an author than to see that their readers really care about their story. Thank you so much! I try to comment on all of them.
When Stephanie mentioned Nat's written assessment, I already alluded to the medical documents she later prints out. Regarding Natalie's mother, this will become even clearer later. She's a deeply lewd person with an extremely dirty imagination, which is why she's such a successful erotic and snuff author. She'll always try to shock her daughter a little. She does this through little things like calling her pussy a fillet, simply touching it, especially in public, or even humiliating her a little bit. She does all of this partly because she enjoys it herself, partly because she now knows she doesn't have much time left with her daughter, but also to challenge Natalie a little bit. She wants to see if she's actually willing and ready for the whole thing. Because deep down, Steph deeply regrets losing her daughter and perhaps subconsciously hopes she'll change her mind after all.
Regarding Natalie's emotional intelligence: I'm a child of the '80s. Back then, we had hope that humanity would evolve a bit. And I still believe that the Skibidi Toilet generation coming our way has no chance of surviving. I'm a Star Trek fan, a huge science fiction fan, and in my imagination, humanity will continue to evolve. Combined with Edward Hyde's Sidneyverse, this particularly means a kind of emotional maturity that helps accept certain circumstances and integrate them into everyday life. I think that since this whole thing particularly affects children and adolescents, they learned to grow up very early over time. After all, we're talking about a development that's already been going on for 300 years; my stories are set in the 24th century, which I want to hint at with all the little technical gadgets.
I agree, it didn't take long for Nattie to make this difficult decision. But in this world, girls sometimes make this decision much more quickly and spontaneously. She's already taken her time, by these standards. But you'll also notice, as the story progresses, that doubts keep cropping up in her. She still has over a month to think about it, even though she's already agreed. And since love plays a big role in my story, especially the love between parents and their children, you can imagine that Steph's words about her saying that once she's agreed, there's no way she can back out, weren't entirely serious. Nat will get opportunities to escape the whole thing. The question is, will she take them?
As for the painslut thing, that was her mother who called her that, and it was Natalie who blushed profusely and responded with a small "maybe." As I said, her mother keeps trying to coax her out of her shell, and Nat is in the process of discovering herself. She doesn't know if she'll truly enjoy the pain, but she's open to the idea. And as for Laura, as I said, children and teenagers are considerably more emotionally mature in this world, and I hope that will actually be the case someday.
And I'll definitely delve into Stephanie's thoughts, at least briefly. She loves her daughter very much. In a much deeper way than is usually the case with mother and daughter. They are lovers, and Steph suspects that she's really going to lose her. But she also respects her wishes. And that's enormously important in this world.
Finally, I'd like to say again that I'm incredibly grateful for every comment I receive and that I'm also thinking about whether to incorporate certain suggestions into the story. Look forward to the next part. It's coming soon.

First of all, I’m really glad that you like the story, and the next chapter will be coming soon. As for your first question, I’m a bit torn. I’m not sure if I want to reveal that. Because… well… it’s probably a higher number than most of you would expect. And I don’t want to scare anyone off in case the story might seem a little too long. It’s a slow-burner. So let’s just say there will be quite a few more chapters to come.
As for your second question, Peter will play a major role, especially in the later chapters, and yes, there will also be a surprise involving him.
