Mainly time, I am easily distracted, and coming up with the main concept isn't the hard part for me, its fleshing them out in to an actual story.

For example, I had the idea for a prison / execution centre for girls that's of inspired by The Execution of Joanne and some of Djetlas stories, but I don't want it to be a short story because I've read so many like that that it would feel like a rip off to me. So I was thinking something longer. I have an idea for the beginning and the end worked out, but it's figuring out what all happens in the middle that makes my brain hurt.
