There is a great deal of distance from an idea to a cohesive story, even with the help of AI. I've had a lot of fun using AI to help write my ideas but I can't for the life of me make them a real story. They keep meandering and have no ending. AI has been a fun tool but if anything, it's just made me far more appreciative of the authors we've been blessed with. Don't get me wrong, I'm not disparaging AI writing. I'm just saying even with AI assisted tools, a writer I am not.

But I did have some fun ideas.
