Yes, I explained that it was based on Introducing the Spartan Spitter by KaosAngel in the introduction. I made quite a few edits to avoid outright plagiarism, but all of Ronco's monologue is taken directly from the original (give or take a few typos). I did deliberately leave out some details for brevity or because I didn't think they made sense, like the spit being 3 inches thick, but it is clearly the same infomercial.
