To be continued…
To Josh’s pleasant surprise, Samantha, now sporting a black gilet very similar to Amelia’s white one over her other clothes having decided that her big coat would be excessive for this outing since she was otherwise decent, did not tease her friend about the special arrangement that had been agreed in the car on the way to town, seeming just to be pleased to have her company for the outing. Instead, they chatted and giggled about what sorts of things they should buy to go in the goodie-bags with Amelia jokingly suggesting some practical additions such as wet-wipes, tooth-picks and indigestion tablets!
“So, ladies,” he asked over his shoulder once he had collected the ticket from the machine at the entrance and driven through the raised barrier into the multi-story car-park, “do we want food first or to start the shopping?”
“Food!” came the instant and unanimous reply from the back seat.
“Food it is!” he chuckled. “Gotta get you both fattened up after all!” he grinned then remembered the conversation at the butcher. “How’s that going anyway, Amelia?” he asked, knowing that there would likely not have been a whole lot of change for her in just a week but still wanting to take an interest in her project, especially as he had now become so intimately involved in her plans.
“I’ve gained a little bit,” she smiled, “and Mummy and I have started going for bike rides together in the evenings. That’s helping a bit!”
“Maybe we could go swimming tomorrow?” Samantha suggested. “That would be good for me too! Keep me nice and toned?” she grinned. Josh agreed that sounded like a nice idea and promised to run it by Laura later. “My bikini should fit you,” Samantha told her friend cheerfully, “if I wear my one-piece. Of course it’s a shame we have to wear anything but I don’t think the pool allows skinny-dipping yet?”
“Not that I know of!” Josh agreed with a chuckle. “But who knows? Maybe if there’s enough demand they’ll start offering one session a week for meat-girls where they don’t require suits?”
“Good idea!” Samantha grinned. “I bet the viewing gallery would be packed out!” Being a Saturday so close to Christmas, the car-park was pretty full but Josh eventually managed to find a space and urged both girls to remember what level they were on for later before slipping the ticket into his wallet. The subject of where to eat became quite an animated discussion between the two girls, fortunately without ever degenerating into a squabble, with the pair eventually settling upon Burger King.
“Too bad they don’t do girl burgers!” Samantha mused, pushing the door open then holding it open for the other. “Do you think they will one day?”
“Maybe!” Amelia pondered as they looked around for an empty table suitable for the three of them. “Or perhaps Sidney’s will open a fast food chain too? Can you imagine it?” she giggled. “Being able to walk in off the street and order a rump-burger with belly-bacon?”
“And boob nuggets!” Samantha giggled. “Or would those be made from thighs?” The pair giggled together, speculating about what other girl-parts could be served as equivalents to typical fast-food staples.
“This one will do!” Josh smiled, spotting an empty table. He slipped in first and Amelia sat next to him with Samantha opposite. “Do you two want to go order?” he suggested, opening the app on his phone so that they could scan the QR code to access his loyalty points. “A bacon double cheese XL meal for me,” he smiled, handing Samantha his card, “with a proper Coke! You two get what you want. Seriously!” she smiled as the girls looked a little surprised, both used to being given strict limits on how much they could order. “Just don’t order more than you can eat. We don’t want to gave to carry it around with us,” he reminded them, “and you can always go back for more!”
Delighted to be so empowered, the girls ran off to find an available ordering screen. Josh reached for his phone to pass the time before remembering that he had given it to Samantha so watched the other families, most of whom seemed to be out doing their Christmas shopping. He wondered if any of the other cute little girls or teens who seemed to to be dressed as skimpily as ever despite the cold weather were planning to be Christmas dinner for their respective families or maybe served at Sidney’s. The way things were going, it seemed inevitable that at least some of them would end up on the menu, whether that month or in the coming months and years. He thought of Emily and how proud she was of her body, how excited she was to be butchered. Did shops like the one they had been to for Samantha’s health check have to do a lot of active recruitment, he wondered, or did they get enough walk-in applicants?
“That was quick!” Josh chuckled as the girls returned to the table, passing him back his phone and card. Remembering his resolution not to check what anything related to the Christmas party had cost him until afterwards and deciding that this probably counted as part of that decision, he closed the app without checking.
“It’s easy when you don’t have to choose!” Samantha giggled, setting down the plastic number sign on the table so that the server would know where to bring their food.
“Just don’t get sick!” Josh cautioned with resigned amusement.
“Are you looking forward to tonight?” Amelia asked a little timidly, stroking his leg under the table like Laura had while they spoke to Penny, her mum. “I don’t really have any experience but I’ll do my best to please you too!”
“Oh don’t worry about that!” Samantha teased. “Daddy will probably cream himself as soon as he sees you in the buff!” Josh shot her a warning look. “Sorry.” She giggled. “Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll have a good time! Daddy’s really good!” Josh blushed a little but took Amelia’s hand and gave it a supportive and affectionate squeeze. He had been a little worried that his wife might be envious of his intimacy with the young girl, what he had not anticipated was that it might be his daughter who got jealous but he was sure he could give her more than enough attention to make up for it and he was certain that any jealousy she felt would melt away once they were all able to enjoy each other together!
“So what made you decide in the end?” he asked, genuinely wanting to understand. “I know you were thinking about it but you were still rather on the fence last time we discussed it.”
“It was when I started following to advice to try to get myself up to A-grade.” Samantha explained slowly in a tone that suggested she had not really delved into her own reasoning until that point. “I realised how important it was to me to get that grade and it occurred to me that the grade meant nothing if I wasn’t actually going to be harvested so at that point I kinda realised that I’d already made up my mind!”
“Well I’m sure you’ll be delicious!” Josh squeezed her hand again. “And anything we can do to help you prepare for your big day, we will do happily!”
“I’m very happy to help you fatten!” Samantha grinned. “And I’m not talking about the burgers we just ordered!” Both girls giggled and, at that moment, two servers came over with trays piled high, looking a little surprised to see only three people at the table. As well as the burger and drink Josh had requested, there were multiple portions of loaded fries with different toppings, a share-box of nuggets and one of chilli cheese bites, onion rings, chicken fingers, multiple dips and of course an array of burgers, perhaps not quite one of each but not far off! As well as all the food, both girls seemed to have two drinks, a soda and a milkshake! “Think of it as an investment, Daddy!” Samantha grinned. “Come on fellow meat-girl!” she grinned at Amelia. “Tuck in!”
