> The story takes place in 2034
There is only a very, very, very, ..., very, very, very small chance for Sidney being succesful until then. :D

> Don't know if you'd be interested in doing some proof-reading for me when it's done?
Well, basically I wouldn't say no. But there are at least two obstacles.
1) I'm not a native speaker, neither of AE nor BE. So my spelling and especially my grammar may not be as accurate as neccessary for serious proof-reading.
2) No, I do not use Pixiv. So I'm in no better position as your friend. At the moment I'm in the sloooow process of updating my system. It can be that this point will vanish. I'd like to read the final version.

> they have to send me a list of corrections needed that I then have to spend a long time searching for,
This is why I provide complete wrong and right sentences. If they trigger the author's memory enough, the search function is not needed because he/she/it(*) gets sufficient context to instantly look up the right text segment. If not, the search and replace function can be used directly to copy and paste the two versions into the corresponding fields.

> Once something is posted on here, I cannot edit it,
I made a request at https://boards.guro.cx/dis/koko.php?res=24037&page=0#p6_24225 , because it annoys me too. Hopefully it is possible to do something about it.

(*) IMHO this modern "gendering" is overestimated and overdone. I respect LGBTQ+whatever people per se, but I can't resist to make jokes when I think the language gets abused.

In the meantime I got new findings for you:

> Laura sprinkled dried garlic flakes, mixed hers and some ground black pepper off the areas Josh had just added the fresh butter to.
Herbs taste better than Laura's whatever. :)

> As they got the right number of mugs out of the cupboard and began to spoon chocolate powder from the catering-sized jar that Laura had bought into them, Laura thought about the girls that she had had watched and helped to prepare into turkey crown, as well as those that had already been packed into their hampers when they got there and the others who inevitable arrived later.
My eys catched the double "had", but additionaly I'd like to suggest a small modification on the text.
They got the right number of mugs out of the cupboard and began to spoon chocolate powder into them from the catering-sized jar that Laura had bought. She thought about the girls that she had watched and helped to prepare into turkey crown, about those that had already been packed into their hampers when they got there and the others who inevitable arrived later.

> The game continued for a few more rounds with most people getting either photographs or small gifts such as key-rings, books or bits of makeup Samantha had not got around to using before Josh swapped back with Laura and the music stopped while Amelia was holding the parcel.
Here I was pretty unsure if I found the correct separating point ("... using. Before Josh ..."). But after posting I checked once more and a light bulb appeared over my head which lead to delete an repost.

> Josh narrowed his eyes and her and gave a small shake of his head in amused frustration but knew when he was beaten and sat down.
I have no idea if this is what you meant.
