I spotted something in the lower right corner of thess images that looks like a signature. It is to long to be from Thomas Nast. Haddon H. Sundblom's name doesn't fit either, though the style could be his. For instance the shoes appear to be from the 1930s. I'm wondering whose pictures you used as template.
