I'm still wondering who is who. Did I miss any indication? I hoped that the hair color could give a hint if it refers to anything IRL.
Some research brought up that the Hollyhock flower (Alcea rosea) exists with various colors. Mostly it is pink, which fits with the latin name. But there are yellow, white and even black sorts too.
Candy Canes are mostly white/red or sometimes white/red/green. Other colors are possible but less common.
So the hair color doesn't help. Well, please could anyone inform me?
