Oh yes that is a recurring trope on my stories and I intend it to be real but I know that is not to everyone's taste and I don't want the stories to turn into "high fantasy" so I try to write such scenes in such a way that they could be the hallucinations of a dying brain. To return to that scene later would be tonally at odds with the rest of the story but I made it so that people, if they wish, can believe that Samantha got to enjoy watching everyone feast on her meat! 😊
