Institutionalized industrial cannibalism is so good when the participants are numb to the concept. The great mass of people accepting (with trepidation) the vast bureaucratic machine turning a living, breathing human into neatly processed cuts of meat. I particularly like the addendum of processing center workers being told to maintain professional detachment between themselves and the human livestock.
