Since you've gotten some negative feedback about it, I just wanted to chime in to say that I really like the semi-con aspects of this.

The theme of "they don't want to die, but go along with it out of societal pressure" is a favorite of mine, and you've done that really well here!

I'm kinda torn about the abuse though. Your world bible put particular emphasis on how Animals are valuable contributors to society and how people are encouraged to be nice and kind to them, but then people can also rape them without any legal or even societal consequences? That's a pretty harsh vibe mismatch there.
