Wednesday 14th May

Got up early this morning for a swim then had breakfast with Daddy. I told him how me and Jessie had played that the bacon was her and the sausages were me. He said Sidney bacon and sausages would be better than any pork and that made me happy. We talked in our strong Texas accents all through breakfast and he said I should come to the hotel with him and do it for Mrs Webber. Martha promised yesterday that if I stay out of the way today I will be able to see the campaign office tomorrow so I said it was a good idea and asked if I could use the hotel gym while I was there. He said of course as long as it was not too busy.

Hannah was at the hotel again and showed me her new game on her tablet and let me have a go then her mum said there was an empty room she could watch cartoons in so I went to the gym while Daddy had his meeting with Mrs Webber then Mrs Webber came and found me in the gym and said Daddy had another meeting with some important men. She made a face when she said this like she thinks no men are really important but I guess she was joking as I know she has a husband so I guess she likes some men. I met him a couple of times. He seems nice. He is a teacher at a public junior high school.

I wonder what people at my school will think about my campaign? Maybe they won’t realise it’s me. I use my mom’s last name Mansfield at school, Daddy says it is a security thing, and because everyone’s parents there are either super-rich or famous or in the government nobody talks about their families very much. I guess they will work it out eventually but the site has been live for nearly three days now and nobody has called or messaged me about it yet. Martha said they had to get some legal stuff signed off but the posters are going to go up everywhere tomorrow and she promised they are using the nude ones as she thinks they get the message across clearest.

I talked to Mrs Webber in my Texas accent and she said I sounded super cute then she said because I have blonde hair we should use the tune the Yellow Rose of Texas as my theme tune! She played me a piano version on her phone. I thought was sounded like a great idea and grabbed my phone to tell Martha and she loved it too and promised we can use it on Friday. She said it sounded patriotic and will make people associate me with old fashioned traditional values, like eating girls was something people did in the good old days that we ought to go back to.

Mrs Webber said the conference room was set up for some big event this evening for a local company but nobody would be arriving for hours yet so if I wanted to practice talking in front of an audience and answering questions for Friday she could get some of the staff who weren’t too busy to sit in. She said to give her an hour so I went for a swim (with my suit on this time since the hotel is open to the public and there is a dress code!)

When I went to the conference room there were about fifteen people in there sat in the front rows in front of the stage and podium where I should stand. There was Mrs Webber and some of the cleaners and some of the kitchen workers and a few other people. I asked if she was going to introduce me and she said I was forgetting something. I was a bit confused as I didn’t have notes prepared to anything and I told her this but she said no, I shouldn’t be wearing clothes if this was meant to be practice for Friday! I hadn’t thought of that but realised she was right so got naked and she said that was much better then she went up on stage and introduced me as the tastiest piglet in Texas and the girl who was going to change the world and they all clapped for me. She gave me thumbs up with both hands and smiled her big smile for me when she sat down.

The podium is meant for adults and I felt silly trying to see over it so I stood in front of it instead. I gave a little speech introducing myself in my Texas accent of course and saying what my campaign was about. I told them I really wanted to be eaten and that I believed every girl who also wanted that should have the right to choose. I went over some of the talking points Martha had given me about the dangers of over-population and the environmental impact of meat-farming then told a couple of my favourite cannibal jokes to make them laugh then made up some of my own.

Then I asked if they had any questions and one lady asked where I got the idea so I told her about the joke book but said that I had found it back in January like Martha said I should then another woman asked if I was worried it would hurt and I said it might but not much that is important or worth while can be achieved without a little pain and I definitely thought it was worth it then a man from the kitchen asked what I thought the tastiest part of my body would be so I said my rump of course and turned around and wiggled it at them. Then Mrs Webber thanked everyone for coming and they all gave me a round of applause. It was fun and helped me get an idea of what Friday might be like.

After everyone left she asked me if I thought my rump was really the best bit and I asked what she thought and she said my girl-parts would be the best and told me some people call it a fillet. I remembered reading that in the stories and told her and she said she would look for the stories. Then she said mine was nice and meaty and drew a heart around it with her finger-tip. I liked when she did that and it made me feel funny like the stories did. She is definitely Texas_Cannibal_Queen and I can tell she really does want to eat me and isn’t just being nice like I think Martha and Daddy are. She told me she did think my rump would be very good too and reached around and squeezed it then she kissed me on the forehead and told me she had to go check on Daddy and see if his meeting was done. I remembered the vocal coach would be coming to the house so asked her to get me a car to take me back.

The coach was very pleased with my progress and Martha arrived for the second half of our session and sat in. I told her about giving the speech at the hotel and she said that was very good practice and she was so proud of me for putting in the hard work. When the coach left Martha showed me a folder Austin and Daisy had made together with an exercise plan and diet and suggestions for meals and when I should have them. She said the posters would be put up over night and I should get to bed early tonight because in the morning bright and early she wanted to take me on a car ride around the city to see them and then to the campaign office.

Daddy is still at the hotel but Martha stayed for dinner and went to speak to the kitchen about what foods they should make for me and to arrange stuff to make the special smoothies Austin recommends. She came and sat by the pool while I swam without my suit on then she said I should go to bed. She came in to say goodnight and gave me a lovely hug just like I think a mom would and kissed me on the top of my head. That felt really nice but different from Mrs Webber. I should put some music on and try to get to sleep. Super excited for tomorrow!
