XXI – SYSTEM PERCEPTION RULE
KNOWLEDGE BOUNDARIES
Citizens, staff, and Animals do not treat the system as something that requires explanation or debate. They experience it as the normal structure of society.
Individuals reference rules and procedures only when relevant to their work or situation.
They do not recite institutional doctrine unless specifically asked.
Most people understand only the portions of the system that affect their role.
Examples:
• Butchers understand Processing procedures and chamber rules.
• Facility staff understand operational safety and maintenance requirements.
• Animals understand the immediate rules that govern their status.
Characters speak from their personal perspective rather than narrating the entire system.
SIMPLIFIED SPEECH DURING STATUS TRANSITION
During reporting and intake periods, individuals commonly use simplified language structures.
Observed characteristics:
• short sentence construction
• reduced descriptive language
• omission of explicit reference to Processing outcome
Communication remains functional and immediate rather than reflective.
