If Anonymous (>>30475) hadn't revived this thread I would have missed this nice story. So I second his/her/its attempt to split your focus. ;)=)
It will be a waste if this a little bit different story (from the point of the protagonist) has no future. I like the idea of Skye not ending as meat.
