At least in Edward's (as usual) very interesting story the ordinary people have obviously no idea about "white-band-meat". That raises the question if the "elite" is only in a position where they can order this speciality but are themself still part of the lottery system? Or are they also outside of the system?

I had the idea that the beautiful teens would become breeders. But I guess in this universe farms are not neccessary. It is a pity, because it would so nicely contradict Kennedy's "lustlessness". >:)=)
