Sorry i think your misundwrstanding my suggestion.

I am saying post as yiu have been BUT once a story is completed copy past i, in whole or chapters into a thread of your completed works .
Then, after a few days the original thread can be deletes.

That keeps everything neat, makes your stories easy to find, AND lets your newest work get the attention it deserves while keeping your creation prossess the same.
