The event was a great success and both sisters were enjoyed immensely! Jessica had been put on to cook within an hour of arriving, once the equipment had set up and the coals burned down suitably to cook on but while she waiting on the carving mount she had been able to listen to people’s comments about how delicious Marcia’s meat was and how much they were looking forward to hers. As she was moved over to coals, she heard more than a few of the guests joke that she was getting off lightly, that they would far rather be roasted than have to listen to the corporate presentations they were about to sit through. As promised, Mollie, Lydia and Cole took it in turns taking pictures and filming on Jessica’s phone so that their mum could be sent a full account of their last day, showing just how much their meat had been enjoyed.
Nobody spoke much on the journey back to the headquarters. Not out of any sense of sadness or regret but simply from tiredness. They had all been up early and it had already been a long day, not least for Cole who was contemplating picking up some sort of soothing lotion for his manhood on the way home. Packed in the back along with the now switched off refrigerated trolley and the dismantled cooking equipment were plastic crates holding what remained of the sisters, destined for the bio-waste recycling bin behind the main building.
Although there were technically two more hours left of the working day when they got back, Mollie was sure nobody would resent her leaving early. After all, she had already worked more than her contracted hours. Still, it seemed important to check her emails for anything urgent before heading home. Among the usual enquiries and appointment requests, all of which could wait for tomorrow, were two that seemed important. One was from the mother of Tara and Poppy, Mrs O’Sullivan’s granddaughters, asking if she could bring them in for their pre-cooking interview on Friday after school, an appointment which Mollie was happy to write back and confirm, pleased that she would have enough time to get the pot out of storage and clean it up a little since it was sure to have gathered some dust and cobwebs since the last time it was used. The other posed more of a potential issue.
It was an email from Carl, the meat-boy she had signed up before the girls arrived on Monday. In it he repeated that he would be delighted to be served at the party but, while he understood he had previously indicated that any form of cooking was acceptable, he really hoped to be spit-roasted. This created a problem for Mollie as she had been intending to serve him as a live buffet, the one method that Lydia had ruled out, and cook her pretty co-worker on the spit. Perhaps they could both be spit-roasted? There was no particular reason why not but the point of a live buffet was to provide meat people could enjoy while they waited for the roast to be done.
“Hey.” Lydia smiled, walking into the office with two mugs of coffee and setting one down on Lydia’s desk, keeping hold of the other while she sat in the empty office chair beside her. “Figured you could use a pick-me-up!”
“You can say that again!” Mollie smiled gratefully, picking up the mug and blowing on the contents slightly. “Didn’t get much sleep last night and then being here so early this morning…”
“That’s what you get for hosting a sleep-over with two pre-teen meat-girls the night before their harvest!” Lydia teased. “That expression doesn’t come from nowhere, you know!” Mollie giggled and blushed a little. “So what’s up?” the younger caterer asked perceptively. “Someone else pulled out at the last minute or a client asking for ten meat-girls and seven boys ready to eat by eight this evening?”
“No, nothing like that.” Mollie chuckled, taking a small sip of her extremely welcome coffee. “But you remember Carl, right?”
“As if I could forget!” Lydia giggled.
“Well for that party I’ve signed you up for, I was going to spit-roast you and serve him as a live buffet.” Lydia’s eyes glazed over a little, imagining both herself turning on the spit just like Emma or Jessica and also Carl’s big sausage being cut off and grilled, or maybe cut into thinner slices like peperoni.
“Sounds good to me.” Lydia nodded. “So what’s the problem?”
“Well he’s agreed to the party,” Mollie sighed, “but he really has his heart set on spit-roasting and you know me, I like to give everyone the send-off they want!”
“So what’s the problem?” Lydia asked brightly, sipping her own coffee, leaning back in the chair with one long, shapely leg crossed over the other.
“Well if I spit-roast both of you, there’s going to be a long wait for any food and then loads at once. The live buffet was a way of spreading things out a bit. I suppose if we do something similar like we did with Jessica today and have one of you more or less ready to serve before the…”
“There’s a much simpler answer.” Lydia’s eyes sparkled mischievously. Mollie looked at her expectantly, coffee mug hovering just below her mouth. “Just swap us over! Roast him, chain me to the frame and let everyone have at it! Just make sure the knives are nice and sharp!” Mollie couldn’t quite believe what she was hearing.
“When we filled in your form,” she reminded her friend, “that was the one method you absolutely ruled out when we were filling in your form.”
“That was the old me!” Lydia giggled, shrugging her shoulders playfully.
“It was earlier this morning.” Mollie reminded her.
“Yeah well…” Lydia shrugged again. “Maybe I just ruled that out because it’s the method that most fascinates me and I wanted you to try to talk me into it? I dunno…” She took another sip of her coffee. “Maybe it was watching those two cuties earlier or all the girl-meat I’ve eaten these past couple of days and maybe I’ll regret saying this but right now, if you told me you wanted to serve me up alive so the guests could eat me just by taking bites, I’d be up for it!”
“Well it certainly would solve my conundrum!” Mollie giggled. “Plus it would mean I get to skewer his nice big sausage! There’s always something very satisfying about doing that!” Both young women giggled. “But are you sure? Do you want to sleep on it and tell me tomorrow?”
“Nah.” Lydia smiled. “If I think about it too much, I risk talking myself out of it. Better just to commit myself now and be done with it!”
“Well if you’re sure…” Mollie waited a moment to see what Lydia would say but the pretty blonde teen just smiled. Surprised but relieved, Mollie turned back to the computer and replied to Carl’s email, assuring him that he would get his wish. “Well, I don’t know about you!” she switched off her computer and stood up, “But I’m completely done for the day! Thanks for coming in early.” she smiled. “It was a huge help!” Lydia smiled again, easily communicating with her relaxed expression that it was no hardship and that she had been happy to do it. “You get off home now too.” Mollie smiled. “See you in the morning!”
The flat felt strangely empty when Mollie got home, throwing her keys in the bowl by the door and collapsing into the sofa. Not that it was unusual for it to be just her there on her own. That was the normal state of things after all. But last night it had been fun to share the space with the two little sisters she never had. Little sisters who were now digesting in dozens of bellies, including her own.
Pretty sure she wasn’t going to be needing dinner that evening, she performed the magic trick most girls learn in their early teens of taking her bra off without removing her top and, feeling the relief of being released from its constraint, threw it across the room onto an arm chair. She fancied a cold drink but that would involve getting up so she decided it could wait and turned the TV on instead. She found a true crime documentary that looked quite interesting, about a case she remembered reading about in school, but before the narrator had finished giving an outline of the story and those involved, she was fast asleep on the sofa.
It was light outside when she woke up and for a moment she thought she had slept through the entire night through to the next morning but a quick check of her phone assured her it was only a little after nine in the evening. She must really have been worn out from the day! Her bladder telling her it really was time to get up off the sofa she stood up and stretched then walked to the bathroom, undressing as she went and lazily leaving a trail of clothes behind her, declaring it a problem for Future Mollie. Once in the bathroom, she took care of the urge that had woken her up then stepped into the shower and let the water wash away all the cares of the day.
Her normal little playful routine of inspecting her own meat whilst washing herself felt more purposeful now, more real. She could really count the time in days until she would be roasting for real! She was looking forward to meeting the little cuties who were excited to cook for their grandma and showing them the big pot she would boil them in. Little ones like that were always so much fun to work with and their meat so tender and sweet. She thought about Lydia’s apparent u-turn and wondered how she was feeling about it now. Was she still just as keen or would she have “sobered up” from the hormone-induced high many women and girls experienced after eating girl-meat? If she came to her in the morning and said she had changed her mind, it would really not be the end of the world. There was a solution to everyone problem if you were patient enough to look for it. She lathered up the shampoo in her thick mane of red hair then rinsed it out, enjoying the steaming cascade for a few minutes more before turning the shower off and stepping out.
On a warm evening like this, she knew she didn’t need to bother drying her body but did wrap a towel around her hair. Otherwise naked, she walked back through the living room, ignoring her discarded clothes and going to the kitchen where she took a can of chilled strawberry and lime cider out of the fridge and grabbed a glass from the cupboard. For a moment she considered planting herself back in front of the big TV but decided instead to go to the bedroom and watch something in there. No longer in the mood for true crime, she lay on top of her covers and poured out her drink then flicked through the various apps’ offerings until she found an old movie about a group of randomly-selected people racing each other across America to win a life-changing amount of money. She had seen it before but it was funny and entertaining and, most importantly, required no great level of brain-power or concentration so she flicked it on and lay back, enjoying her cider.
After half an hour or so, she paused the movie and sat up on the bed to dry her hair with the dryer that lived in her night-stand then brush it and put it in a messy bun so that hopefully it would be somewhat manageable in the morning. Having done all this, she slipped under the duvet and resumed the movie, although she was not awake to see the end.
