Funny story for you - I once wrote a non-cannibal story which glossed over how horrible the process I actually describe would be to experience and several people complained about me missing it out so I angrily wrote a sequel which was as horrible and traumatic as I could make it and indeed a couple of people did admit to feeling a little chagrinned to many, many others have told me it's their favourite thing I've ever written! XD
