Shannon takes as deep breath as she processes their final words. "Okay... Not too much pressure then..." She quickly looks around at her friends. They were all looking intently at her, ready to solve whatever the riddle may be. Shannon then nods, reaching for the other piece of paper. "Alright, let's see this riddle then..."

"Ahem... I'm black and white and I can sneak and crawl.

I mask myself from sight and sneak through your halls.

I can enter a house without a key and pick any lock with simple ease.

What am I?"

Everyone glances around at each other, already quietly working away at the riddle in their minds. Silence hung in the air as they tried to come up with an answer. After a few moments, Zoey speaks up first. "Maybe... a rat? They're pretty sneaky..."

The others thought over the suggestion, but Madalyn shook her head in disagreement. "No, they're not really black and white. I was thinking a raccoon... They have a masked faced too." Zoey shrugs, unable to come up with a rebuttal.

Shannon shakes her head. "I don't think an animal really fits as a special present..." The others agreed, returning to their musing.

Another couple of moments pass, then Ivy perks up. "How about a ghost? They're pretty sneaky, and can open doors." The rest of the group looks at her, confused.

Anna nudges her cousin. "I mean, it makes sense for an answer, but how is a ghost a birthday present?" Ivy looks at her, dejected. "I dunno... I just thought it kinda fits..."

Shannon sighs, unable to come up with an answer herself. "Well, just sitting here isn't going to help." She stands up, grabbing her pillow. "Let's get your beds set up, maybe while we do we'll come up with something."

Ivy immediately clung to Anna, her eyes sparkling. "I'm sleeping with Ann!" Anna giggles, kissing her cheek. "Of course you will! Though, my bed is a little small, so we may have to squeeze in tight~" Ivy blushes at her cousin's teasing,a bashful smile forming on her face.

Shannon grumbles. "Figures..." She then turns to Leah and Madalyn, gesturing to the nearby couch. "You two good with the pull out bed?"

Leah looks over at Madalyn, smirking. "I think so... Though I am known to be a sheet-stealer~"

Madalyn just rolls her eyes. "Whatever, I'll just take them back." She nods toward Shannon. "Yeah, we'll be fine."

Shannon giggles. "Perfect. That just leaves Zoey and I to share my bed." She glances over to Zoey, expecting a cheeky response.

Zoey, however, was lost in her own thoughts, seemingly still trying to figure out the riddle. An awkward silence hung in the air before Zoey finally looks up. Her face turns bright red as she realizes everyone was waiting on her to speak. "O-Oh, sorry, did I miss something?"

Everyone giggles as Zoey's eyes dart around, embarrassed for zoning out. Shannon, unable to even stifle her own laughter, takes a deep breath to try to speak. "Sorry, Zoey, I was just saying that it's you and me in bed tonight. Everyone else has their beds picked."

Zoey huffs at her girlfriend, mad that even she found her embarrassment funny. "Fine, though you better make up for what just happened."

Shannon nods, still slightly smiling. "I don't see why I have to make up for it, but very well. Let's go grab some sheets for Leah and Madalyn." She motions for Zoey to join her as she starts to head upstairs.

Shannon hands a stack of neatly folded sheets and blankets to Zoey. She huffs, taking the sheets with a sharp, irritated movement, and quickly turns to head downstairs. Shannon rolls her eyes and grabs a couple of pillows, following after her.

Shannon sets a hand on her shoulder, stopping her. "Hey, is everything okay Zoe?" She glares at Shannon for a moment, before dropping her shoulders and let's out a deep sigh. "Not really, I guess... I just... I really wanted to solve that riddle for you..."

Shannon smiles and gently hugs her. "Hey, it's not that big of a deal, we'll get it eventually." Pulling back from her embrace, a cheeky gin appears on her face. "Plus, that riddle was for me anyways. I doubt that my parents would've given me anything super tough to solve if this present is really that special. I am quite an idiot after all."

Zoey tries to stifle a laugh, the tension slowly being washed away by small tears forming in the corners her eyes. "That's very true, you are an idiot."

Shannon let's out a giggle, making Zoey finally laugh as well. "Good, you're feeling better. Now, let's get downstairs before Anna and Ivy start having too much fun."

Zoey chuckles. "Yeah, don't want them breaking anything. Or each other..." Shannon smirks and nods in agreement as she turns to go downstairs.

However, before Shannon reaches the stairwell, she suddenly stops. "Wait, I got it!" She then sprints downstairs, leaving Zoey and the pillows behind.

Zoey just looks in confusion, quickly picking up the abandoned pillows and following Shannon downstairs. "Got what..? Got what..?!"

Downstairs, Leah and Madalyn pulled out the bed from the couch, lounging on it as they waited for Shannon and Zoey to return. Meanwhile, Anna and Ivy had begun to make out, giggling as their hands explored each other's bodies.

Then, suddenly bursting from the stairwell, an excited looking Shannon rushes into the room. Everyone else quickly perked up, alert from Shannon's rather Loyd entrance. "I know the answer to the riddle!"

Before Shannon could continue, Zoey slowly appears behind her, trying not to drop the tower of sheets and pillows in her hands. She glares at Shannon, sharply kicking her in the side. "Hey, a little help please!"

Shannon snaps around. "Oh!" She quickly grabs the pillows before the stack of sheets can collapse. "Sorry, I just got excited. I think I solved the riddle!"

Zoey rolls her eyes. "I got that doofus, but you just left left me behind. Right after out little talk too." The others giggle, seeing Shannon light up with embarrassment. Zoey lets out a gentle laugh, her irritation dropping. "I'm only teasing... Slightly" She nudges Shannon and gestures for them to sit. "C'mon, tell us your answer."

Shannon grumbles and nods, setting the pillows and sheets down on the bed. She then sits on the ground, the others slowly joining her, excited to hear her supposed answer. Shannon takes a deep breath, rubbing her hands with excitement. "So, I think the answer is... A Burglar!"

The girls look at each other, a little confused. After a moment, Madalyn speaks up. "How... How does a burglar fit, exactly..?"

Shannon huffs, crossing her arms. "Well, it has all of the parts of the riddle. They dress in black in white, they wear a mask, they sneak and crawl, and they usually pick locks to break into a house! It's all there."

Madalyn cocks her head, still not convinced. "I guess it works..." The others, however, just shrug, unable to come up with a better answer themselves. Shannon rolls her eyes. "Fine. I'll just text my parents the answer, and if I'm wrong you can come up with something better."

She pulls out her phone and sends her parents a text with her answer. After a couple of seconds, she gets a reply. Shannon's eyes light up as she reads their response. "They said it was right!"

The others cheer, excited for Shannon to finally get her surprise. Anna's voice cuts through the others, seemingly the most excited. "So, what's the surprise!?"

Shannon quickly glares at her sister before answering. "They haven't told me yet, but I'll ask." Shannon replies to her parents, which they quickly and simply respond with 'The answer you've already provided!'

Shannon looks at her phone, confused. "They just said that the riddle answer is my present..?" The others grow confused as well, not quite understanding what her parents meant. Then, Madalyn speaks up again. "Wait... Do they mean your present is... a burglar?"

Shannon becomes immediately flush, realizing what Madalyn said. She quickly texts her parents, hoping to confirm Madalyn's suggestion. They quickly text back, seemingly expecting Shannon's questions. 'You've got it! Just get comfortable and try to get some sleep, he'll be there soon~ Love you!'

Shannon slowly lowers her phone, her mind racing with confusion and excitement, and her cheeks growing increasingly more flush. Zoey nudges her, trying to get her attention. "So, what did they say?"

After a moment, she finally snaps back into the present. "U-Uhmmm, they said..." She shuffles in place, trying to focus. "Ahem You're right Madalyn, they said that my present is a burglar.... Who's coming tonight..."

The others were stunned into silence, not expecting Madalyn to actually be right. They look around at each other, trying to wrap their heads around the implications of Shannon's surprise.

Zoey speaks up first, mischief and arousal swirling in her eyes. "So, that means your little fantasy is becoming real Shannon... God, that's so hot..." Her hand slides into her PJs, slowly rubbing herself, imagining Shannon at the mercy of her desires.

The spell over Shannon finally breaks at Leah's words, her eyes darting around and looking over her friends. "Holy shit..." With many implications suddenly rushing through her head, she regains some composure and stands up, addressing her friends. "W-Well, If anyone doesn't want to... participate, I guess... Then you should probably... Uh, head home..." She looks around at everyone, expecting at least someone wouldn't want to stay.

However, they all shook their heads, very much intent to stay the night. Zoey stands up, bringing in Shannon for a hug. "This is your special birthday Shannon, we all want to be a part of it." The other's nod in agreement. Shannon smiles seeing all of her friends wanting to join her.

Anna suddenly jumps up, her eyes bright with mischievous intent. "Plus, I'm not letting you have all the fun by yourself. You have to share with your little sister after all!" Ivy gets up as well, following Anna's enthusiasm. "A-And your cousin too!" The others giggle as Shannon rolls her eyes. "Of course I will. I doubt I could stop you, even if I wanted to..."

Anna nods. "Exactly." She then grabs Ivy's hand, causing her to blush one again. "Now, we have a bed to snuggle into. Goodnight everyone! Have fun~" Anna giggles as she leads Ivy upstairs.

Shannon sighs, amused at her sister's enthusiasm. "She's right though, we should head to bed. We do have an... Interesting night ahead of us." Leah and Madalyn nod and turn to prepare their bed, laying down sheets and fluffing pillows. They wave goodnight as Shannon and Zoey head upstairs, their hands locked together and excited for the night to come.
