Yes, good point. This story started with several fewer points of variation in each day, and I kept adding more with each editing pass, so really the reason the snuff method was always the same is that I got tired of reading about little monkeys jumping on beds after about the hundredth monkey met her end. 😮‍💨

Maybe if I repost this on Ao3 a few months from now when I'm ready to look at it again, I'll spice it up a bit more.
