Thanks! I was deliberately imitating the structural style from those old timey fairy tales when I wrote that one, and I'm glad at least one person appreciated that. Even still, I recognize that the old style isn't used anymore for good reason, so I probably won't try that again.

Yes, love it. I thought about it a lot while writing my own little 'prestige' magic story. That opening scene where Michael Caine explains the three acts of every magic trick were a major guiding force in planning this story. Obviously, there were a few other scenes I also took inspiration from in that movie, as you noticed 😉
