She stood up with the help of a stool and activated the tank of Shimmer in her arm to get a dose to get back in shape. The miracle drug pulsated in her veins, she didn’t have any real damage, so easing the pain was enough. Her leg was burned but it’d heal with enough time. With the corner of her eye she checked the clock. Fuck, it was time to work.

She escorted Silco to his meeting on the bridge. Counselor Jayce Talis waited for them there. “Silco’s right? I am here as the voice of the council to offer you a peace treaty. We are willing to agree on your terms and give Zaun its autonomy, HOWEVER, this will come at a coast. Zaun will be autonomous, and the enforcers will not be allowed to enter Zaun without a valid reason, we will not interfer with the laws of Zaun. But on the other side, Zaun’s government must promise to compensate every damage done by its citizens to Piltover, and it must give priority to Piltover in commercial trading. Those are the main points, everything is put in details here.” He handed Silco the treaty. “There’s one more thing.” Jayce continued, before Silco stopped him.

“Wait a second young man. What tells you that we’ll agree to those terms? They aren’t exactly in our benefit.” The council member did not like the remark. “Listen. A group of Enforcer destroyed a whole factory and its employees not long ago. We know for sure you can’t do anything, you can’t fight back, you can’t negotiate, you can only do what we let you do. If we go down with our weapons, we are not conquering Zaun, we are wipping it off the map! I tried my best to convince the rest of the council to give you a chance, to let you get what you want. You are not in position to be picky.”

Silco had seen the massacre in the factory, and he knew the weapons his men had. If Piltover could use the same weapons on a large scale, they were doomed. He could only accept it. “Fine, what is that ‘one more thing’ that you want?” He asked. It wasn’t a bad deal, but he always tried to get more. Jayce responded. “The council wants to make an example, we want Jinx to be sent to Stillwater.” He paused, and took a look at Sevika. “And this one too.” He pointed to her. From Sevika point of view, she had to admit that the freedom of Zaun for just two cunts was a very good offer, she didn’t like to be one of those two but she couldn’t do anything for that. Silco on the other hand is relieved, he expected much worse. “Sure, take them if you want. Have Sevika right now, I’ll send Jinx before the end of the day.” He pushed Sevika toward Jayce, who grabbed her head and arm.

He easily understood the mechanisms of her artificial limb. With two presses on cables, the whole arm could lost tension and let Jayce remove it with no effort. Still the metal parts bolted into Sevika’s flesh hurt like hell when he ripped them off. She muffled a scream and walked behind him as they left. She knew what was going to happen, she was a traded prisoner, they wouldn’t bother with giving her a trial. Someone will get her to Sillwater and she’ll never leave.
