There were reasons. At first I toyed with the idea that it was tradition to snuff the firstborn girl, and then as I was writing I changed my mind. I went back and changed some things and diced it would be more fun if Macy was still there but not considered human. I though the twins' relationship as person and pet could be more interesting when it got to the next chapter. I actually imagined this starting with Jillian blowing out her candles at the party, but then I overcomplicated everything.

I haven't written much guro to begin with, and this was only my 2nd go here. I think I had too much loli guro pent up in my mind and it tried to burst out all at once. Smh.
