It's a very interesting view at the mystical Amazons. Science isn't sure if they really removed their right breasts [what about lefthanders? ;) ], because most ancient depictions show the bodies intact. Even the origin of the word "Amazon" is uncertain.[1] Though, the story is entertaining. Good work.

There are two comments I'd like to make.

To do this today would be very stupid, because it can be life-threatening harmful. At the time of the Amazons the rhesus factor[2] wasn't known and it was pure luck if nobody died after such a ritual.

At all other occurences obsidian is correctly described as glass. Maybe here slipped an in other stories routinely used phrase into the text.
