A guro fanfic of Gushing over Magical Girls. I plan to post it to my AO3 at some point, but after my friend L pointed me to this corner of the site, I realized this could also be a good place to start sharing it.
I'll say up-front that this is slower-paced than other guro stories I've read here. It's first and foremost a character-focused fanfic, but one where all sorts of interesting things happen. It starts where the original story does, with some slightly different initial conditions, and progresses from there.
Major themes include: F/F, Dismemberment, Rape, Futanari, Psychological
I hope you enjoy, and I'm looking forward to hearing what people think!

Chapter 1: No Pain No Gain
Hiiragi Utena turned her eyes up, towards the clash unfolding above the city. One creature flew towards Magia Sulfur, then crashed as she summoned a shield into its path, its imp-like shape splattering into ooze. Magia Magenta's spear impaled another one, leaving it, too, to splash down to the street below.
But Magia Azure was outnumbered. In the same instant her sword slashed through one of the monsters, another one dragged its claws across her stomach, cutting through her dress and drawing blood from the skin below. Utena inhaled, her heartbeat quickened - the times when the magical girls got hurt were always so... exciting.
Azure made quick work of her other foes, but they, too, left their marks. Utena's eyes darted around to check for skin or underwear exposed by the damage - then looked away when she realized what she was doing. She was here to admire them, not to ogle them!
"That's the last of them!" The voice of Magia Magenta brought Utena's focus back to the sky. "Tres Magia, withdraw!"
The three magical girls flew away, to wherever they would return to their civilian forms. Utena wondered what they might look like the rest of the time, without the dazzling appearances bestowed by their magic.
It was hard to imagine someone looking ordinary yet holding that kind of power. Utena let out a sigh as she walked away, through the field around her school.
"I wish I could be like them..."
"You totally can, you know."
Utena whirled around at the sound of the voice. There was no one else around, no one except... what looked like some sort of black bat plushie, floating behind her. A fairy. A magical girl mascot.
"Are you... here to give me magic powers?" Utena whispered.
"You bet!" The fairy held out an object shaped like a four-pointed star. "I'm Venalita, and I couldn't help but notice the power you've got. This will let you transform - give it a try!"
Venalita tossed the star forward, and Utena caught it. It began to shine, and light filled the area around her, wrapping her in a warm updraft. Her clothes vanished, and odd sensations spread across her chest and between her legs until new clothing appeared to cover her.
Not that she felt very covered. So much skin was showing, and her pants - if they could be called that - were impossibly tight. How much had she changed?
The light faded. Had anyone seen that? Was that
really
all the clothing she was supposed to get?
Something disappeared from Ventalita's hands before Utena could get a good look at it. "Congrats! How do you feel?"
"I..." Utena glanced down at herself. "Why is my outfit so... weird?"
Venalita's tiny mouth smiled. "It's pretty standard fare for a villain outfit. You didn't think you were going to be one of the good guys, did you?"
Utena's blood went cold. "I-I don't want to be a villain! Turn me back!"
"You know I'm a villain too, right?" Venalita floated closer until its face touched Utena's nose. "What
you
want isn't my problem. You've got some real juicy potential for evil, and I want to see what you can do."
Utena took a step back. "N-No way! I can't just..."
"You sure about that?" The object reappeared in Venalita's hands - a phone. "What if I were to... no, wait. I can do better than that."
Venalita tapped the screen a few times. Was it... typing something?
"...Huh?" Utena asked.
Venalita glanced back up. "Oh, nothing to worry about. Go ahead and head home. The transformation's like a clenched muscle, you can release it by unclenching it."
The fairy returned to texting, leaving Utena unconvinced by the assurance. But... if it was letting her go, she wouldn't waste the chance.
She looked away and did her best to relax. Breath in, out. In, out. After a few breaths, something loosened inside her, and in a flash of light, she was back to her old clothes. Back to her body feeling... normal. The star appeared in her hands, and she let it fall to the ground as she dashed away.
It didn't take long for her to tire and slow down. Venalita didn't seem to be following, so there was no rush. She made her way home, trying to put the encounter out of her mind.
The door was unlocked. Her mother's shoes were here, but something felt... off. Was it just that the talk with Venalita had her looking for things to worry about?
She could head breathing. But it was... weird, too heavy. She followed the noise, towards...
There were two people in the kitchen. Only one of them was wearing clothes. Her mother, in contrast, was wearing... other things. Ropes crossed her otherwise-naked body, holding her in place. A blindfold covered her eyes, a ball gag filled her mouth, and headphones obscured her ears.
"MOM!" Utena shouted, her feet carrying her-
"Stay back there." A star-shaped dagger appeared in the other occupant's hand, resting against her mother's throat. "You want her to live, right?"
The girl threatening Utena's mother wore her own strange outfit - what must have been one of Venalita's examples of typical villain attire. Hers certainly covered more skin - her hood even covered most of her hair - but the sides of her robe were open and almost completely bare.
"She can't hear you, either." The girl tapped the headphones, and Utena's mother flinched. "So let's just have a nice, calm chat, yeah?"
Venalita floated out from behind Utena and into view. "You sure work fast. Well done, Leberblume."
"Damn right I do." Leberblume grinned at Utena, her face a wall of pointed teeth. "So you're our new junior, huh?
Hiiragi Utena
. Venalita says you're trying to turn down our generous offer to join the winning team, so here's how it's gonna go. You're gonna go back out there, transform, find the magical girls, and fuck up their pretty pastel asses. 'Cause if you don't, I get to have some fun with your dear mother here, then slit her throat, tie
you
up, and have fun with you until you're ready to do your damn job. You get me?"
As she finished talking, Leberblume's free hand squeezed Utena's mother's breast. Her mother made a sound, and Utena's shaking became a shudder.
"So... I just need to hurt them a bit, right?" she asked.
"Oh, a few scratches won't cut it," Venalita purred. "The best thing would be for you to
kill
one of them, but-"
Utena's eyes widened. "N-No way!"
Leberblume barked out a laugh. "I told you she wouldn't be
that
dumb, Vena!"
"Well, I had to try." Venalita tittered. "In that case... leave a mark. Something they won't be able to heal from."
Utena swallowed. She'd heard a few tales of things that happened to magical girls of other cities when their fights didn't go well, but Tres Magia had never fared poorly enough for that. Even if she tried, she probably wouldn't succeed. And yet, at the thought... Her heart rate quickened again, joined by a feeling stirring between her legs. She couldn't do something like that, but if she did...!
Venalita glanced down at Utena's skirt. "I see you like the idea. Well, then. Get on with it!"
The fairy withdrew the four-pointed star and tossed it back to her, and against her better judgment, Utena caught it. She turned back to the other pair.
"Y-You won't hurt her while I'm gone, right?" she asked.
Leberblume licked the side of her mother's neck, resulting in another unpleasant noise. "I won't
kill
her as long as I think you're staying on task. Other than that... Don't take so long that I get bored, yeah?"
A chill ran through Utena's body. "I-I understand."
"Good." Leberblume tossed a small object towards her - a wireless earphone. "Put that on, so we can stay on touch."
So Leberblume would know what she was doing. But... at least she'd know if Leberblume became displeased.
"Okay. I-I'll... get to it, then."
Utena staggered out of the house, clutching the star and hoping no one would look at her too closely. She couldn't just burst out of her house in villain form, but... she couldn't transform somewhere she might be seen, either.
After a few blocks of distance, it looked safe enough, and she held up the four-pointed star. She recalled a phrase - the one magical girls apparently said when transforming.
"Trans Magia!"
The star flared to life. Once more, her clothes vanished, and - this time she looked down in time to see that her body was
definitely
changing. Which meant she wouldn't have to worry about people seeing
that
, at least.
Her villain attire appeared, and the transformation concluded. Venalita floated into view.
"I'm glad to see you're on board! As long as you maintain your villain form, you'll light up in magic senses like a beacon, so those magical girls will be over here soon. Better get ready!"
Venalita held out something that looked like a riding crop topped with the same four-pointed star, and Utena took it.
"Wh... what's this?"
"It's your weapon!" Venalita replied. "I call it Frusta Dominazione. You can hit things with it to turn them into monsters. Give it a try!"
Creating a monster... Well, she did like flowers. Maybe a flower monster would be nice?
She raised the whip and swung it at the closest flower. It glowed, then multiplied in size, erupting into a mass of vines wrapped in an odd harness.
She was supposed to fight Tres Magia with... this? And... it felt like something was approaching her. Was that her magic sense?
Would it let her sense the girl at her house? She turned her mind homeward, and felt... maybe a faint blip, one that seemed too faint to be just a few blocks away.
Magia Magenta's voice rung down from the sky. "There it is! Take that thing down!"
"N-Not so fast, Tres Magia!"
What am I even saying?
"You will be the ones to fall!"
Magia Azure floated to Magenta's right. "Is she a new enemy general? She doesn't look very confident..."
"Be careful!" Magia Sulfur replied. "If anything happens, get behind me!"
"Remember what I said,"
Leberblume snarled.
"Make them hurt, and make it count. Or else...!"
The three of them flew down towards the plant monster.
Please,
Utena silently begged it.
Fight back!
Vines leaped up towards the magical girls. A shield appeared in front of Magia Sulfur, and the other two joined her in safety as the strike crashed against it. Vines that tried to crawl around its edges fell to the weapons of Azure and Magenta.
"Sulfur's shields are pretty sturdy, huh?" Venalita remarked. "Better find a way to deal with that!"
Utena looked down at the riding crop. She still felt magic brimming inside her, but not nearly as much as before making the monster. Was it enough to make a second one?
She ran below Tres Magia, over to a spot on their other side, and struck another flower. It burst out to form a second plant monster, and unleashed its own array of vines at the sky.
Sulfur formed a new shield on the opposite side - but as she did, the first one shattered, leaving the original volley free to seize her, to pull her down to the original monster. The second shield crumbled a moment later, and the other vines took hold of Sulfur's partners.
The vines gripped Sulfur's wrists and ankles, holding her limbs splayed several feet in the air. Could Utena float like the magical girls? She willed herself to, and it worked, bringing her up to meet Sulfur face-to-face.
"Let me go!" Sulfur shouted.
"I'm afraid I can't do that." Utena's voice sounded so much calmer than she felt. "You have your job, and I have mine."
"Exactly. Now show her what you're capable of."
Utena's hand settled on Sulfur's flat chest, then took hold of her left breast and squeezed. Sulfur let out a gasp, then composed herself. Familiar feelings stirred in Utena's body - but the ones between her legs were different.
"So what are you gonna do?" Sulfur's tone and expression shifted, as if a mask had crumbled away. "Rape me? Is that what you fuckers are after? And here I was worried that you might try to kill me."
Utena laughed. "Oh, I won't kill you. Certainly not from such a close distance. I'm just here to... weaken you a bit."
She took in Sulfur's face. Piercing blue eyes stared back - how beautiful they were. Utena tapped her right index finger against the outer corner of Sulfur's left eye, her pulse quickening once more.
"You have such impressive defenses. You think you're invincible, don't you? But you're wrong."
She jabbed the fingernail into the edge of the eye socket, then shoved the finger deeper, along the side of Sulfur's eye.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Sulfur howled.
Utena pressed her thumb against the other side of the eye as it bulged out from its socket, and
pulled
. Nerves and vessels snapped, and the eye came free.
"You BITCH!" Blood poured out from the empty eye socket, down Sulfur's face, into her mouth. "I'll fucking kill you!"
Utena brought Sulfur's eye to her mouth and licked the blood from its back. What was she
doing
, Hiiragi Utena would never act this way - only a monster would.
The monster wearing Utena's face turned Sulfur's eye around, to face its front to her lips, and kissed it. The blood, the tears, their taste was so harsh, but there was a sweetness in the excitement of knowing they came from this piece of Magia Sulfur.
Or... was it still a piece of Sulfur? The eye had dulled, no longer a match for its sister. Which suggested it had lost its transformation, and was now just... a piece of the girl who could become Magia Sulfur.
Utena's stomach churned. She tried to retake her body, but it slipped out of her grasp.
The monster brought its eyes to meet Sulfur's, both the empty socket and the eye that remained. "You can't heal something like that, can you? Now, let's just do this one more-"
Pain exploded through Utena's back and stomach. The spear of Magia Magenta protruded from her, covered in blood and scraps of flesh. It didn't touch Magia Sulfur - but the blood spray did.
"Khhhhhhhgk!" Utena gasped.
The vines fell loose from Sulfur. She bellowed with rage, and her arms blazed with golden light.
A hooded figure flew up between them, and drove a star-shaped dagger into Sulfur's stomach.
"You're a fast learner, junior!" Leberblume called out. "But we'd better get out of here, yeah?"
Sulfur reeled backward, her arms returning to normal. Leberblume's shadow fell on Utena, rolling across her like water, and she dissolved into it, flowing around Utena and behind her. Magenta's spear ripped out of Utena with another awful squelch, and her shadowed face spread into Leberblume's grin.
Magenta hurled her spear at the approaching Magia Azure, who raised her sword to block, deflecting the spear but shattering the blade into ice. The shadows on Magenta congealed back into Leberblume, and she flew back up to Utena.
Utena clamped her left hand over her stomach, over the blood and guts trying to escape. Below, both plant monsters were crumbling, their bodies covered in the slash marks of Azure's blade.
Leberblume grabbed her free hand. A portal appeared next to her, and she flew towards it, pulling Utena after her.
They tumbled out into a strange wasteland. Purple clouds filled the sky, and above them loomed a building with nonsensical geometry. The portal closed behind them, leaving no one else in sight.
Utena coughed up blood - some dribbling down her chin, some remaining in her mouth, some falling back into her lungs. "M-Miss Leberblume, I..."
Leberblume grabbed her shoulder. "Look, newbie, you're gonna be fine. All the important pieces are still there, probably. We heal pretty well, our magic knows how to put us back together. Same with what I did to Magia Sulfur. What
you
did, though..." Leberblume laughed. "Job well fuckin' done."
Utena's gaze returned to the slimy thing clutched in her right hand. It was no longer completely round, but it was still recognizably an eye.
"Anyway!" Leberblume took a step back and gestured to the building. "Now that we're here, I may as well show you around. Welcome to Nacht Base!"
Utena dropped to her knees and vomited.

Chapter 2: Spoils of War
"Hey, hey." Leberblume's hand returned to Utena's shoulder. "You can pass out once we get inside, alright?"
Utena spat another glob of puke and blood onto the puddle at her feet.
"I... did I really just..."
"Damn right you did." Leberblume took her wrist and tugged her forward. "No second thoughts now!"
Utena shambled after her, senses blurring as her head swirled with thoughts. "I didn't even want... Wait, my mother! Is she-"
"Fuck." Leberblume stopped in her tracks. "I
knew
I was forgetting something. I'll go untie her once I get you to my partner."
"Y-You just left her like that?"
"Look, I was in a hurry to bail you out! And I can't just leave
you
right now, can I? So really this is
your
fault."
"Wh-WHAT?" The absurdity jolted Utena back to her senses. "I-I-I, Y-Y-Y-"
Leberblume released her wrist and sized her up. "Great, looks like you're stable enough to take things from here. I'll see you in a bit!"
Without waiting for a response, Leberblume summoned another portal and stepped through it.
Utena blinked and looked around. There really wasn't anywhere else to go, was there?
She made her way to the door of the building, opened it, and stepped inside. It was a massive place, and the geometry was as strange inside as outside. She found a bench and slumped down in it.
Her transformation fell away, and her normal clothes returned. Was that a problem? Her stomach felt... less bad than earlier, but still not great. But... she was getting a clearer sense of her magic, and it
felt
like it was still active, slowly knitting her innards back together.
She'd been
stabbed
by Magia Magenta. A giddy feeling emerged - she'd joined the Tres Magia in violent dance, and... survived.
And in the process... She looked again at the thing in her hand. She'd ripped out Sulfur's eye. The thought was sickening, but within the sick feeling, there was something so delightful.
What was
wrong
with her?
A door swung open. Was Leberblume back already? No, it wasn't the way she'd come in. The door lead deeper into the building.
Another girl skipped out. Like Leberblume, she looked close to Utena's age, but her demeanor was... very different. Venalita floated behind her.
"Hey!" the girl called out. "You're Hiiragi Utena, right?"
"Y... Yes." Utena stood, still clutching Sulfur's eye. "A-And you are...?"
The girl struck a pose. "I'm Loco Musica! The best idol around. Welcome to Enormita!"
"Enormita...?" Compared to Leberblume, Loco Musica seemed a lot more friendly and less creepy, but that was scary in its own way. "I thought this was... Nacht Base?"
"Enormita is our organization," Venalita clarified. "Nacht Base is our headquarters. We work to make the world more... interesting."
"O-Oh," Utena said. "I... hadn't heard about all this."
"You hadn't heard of Loco?" Loco pouted. "I mean... sure, Leber and I only just came to your city. But still! You should pay more attention to the news!"
"I'll... keep that in mind..." Utena conceded.
"Great!" Loco pulled out her phone. "Now, I've got to introduce you to one of my brilliant- ...huh? Oh, this must be for you!"
Loco turned around her phone. The screen showed a photo of Utena's mother, still naked but no longer restrained, trying to cover herself while looking fearfully towards the camera.
"Th... thanks?" Utena was glad her mother was safe, at least, but...
"So, it looks like everything went great!" Loco flopped into a nearby chair. "And as long as you keep helping us, we won't have to cause her any more trouble. You aren't gonna make any more fuss about it, right?"
"I..." Everything felt so cold again. "I, uh..."
"Now, now." Venalita flew up to Utena. "Our dear newbie has been through a lot today, and I'm sure she'll behave when the time comes. But there's no need to fret over things like that now. We've just gained a new teammate, and in her first battle, she dealt the first serious wound to one of Tres Magia! This is a time to celebrate!"
"The first serious wound..." Utena looked again at the eye in her hand.
Loco leaped to her feet. "Oh! That's Magia Sulfur's, right? You kept it, that's great!"
"It... is?" Utena asked.
"Yeah, we've got a whole collection of trophies!" Loco leaped forward and snatched the eye from Utena. "This is pretty simple to deal with - eyes are so small, you know. We just need a jar, and... Vena, where's the formaldehyde?"
"I left it in the kitchen," Venalita replied.
"Perfect! I'll be right back!" Loco dashed away.
Utena stared blankly in Loco's direction, then turned back to Venalita. "I-Is that true? That you have a lot of those... trophies?"
"Oh, yeah, dozens of 'em," Venalita confirmed. "Wanna see?"
"I, ah..." At the mental image, Utena's underwear felt increasingly tight. This was... this was so wrong, unthinkable, and yet...!
"Come on, it's this way!" The fairy floated towards another door, and Utena felt her legs straighten and carry her along.
The two of them passed through one room, then the next. Before long, the pungent odor made their destination impossible to overlook.
"Here we are," Venalita announced. "The crown jewel of our hideout!"
Utena stepped inside, and shivered as she took in the sight. Shelves lined with glass vessels of varying sizes, all bearing pieces of flesh within. Eyes, ears, fingers, toes, hands, feet, arms, legs...
Quiet footsteps followed the pair into the room. "Should've known I'd find you here. You like what you see?"
Leberblume. Or Leber, Loco had called her.
"I-I... These are
all
from magical girls?" Utena asked.
"Every one of 'em." Leber tapped a case containing a matched pair of hands. "There's no challenge in chopping up some rando, but a magical girl? Those bits are worth holding onto."
Utena swallowed. There was no way every body part a magical girl lost became a trophy, right? Loco had been excited to see that she'd held onto the eye, but she hadn't just taken it for granted. And plenty of injuries wouldn't even leave the part intact in the first place, whether or not the assailant got the chance to bring it home. If this was how many trophies had made it here, how many more magical girls had Enormita maimed?
A sharp voice interrupted Utena's thoughts. "There you are!"
Loco Musica pranced into the room, holding a jar aloft. The eye inside looked somewhat more spherical than earlier.
"Ugh," Leber groaned. "There goes our nice, quiet tour."
"Can it, Leber!" Loco snapped. Her gaze returned to Utena, and she turned the jar to do the same. "Check it out! We'll still need to make a plaque, but... Oh, yeah, you don't have a villain name yet, right?"
A villain name. She... was a villain now, wasn't she. And one of the really bad ones. "I-I... hadn't thought of one yet."
Loco shrugged. "Well, we'll make it when you come up with one. Wouldn't want to have to credit it to 'Hiiragi Utena', you know?"
Utena shuddered at the thought - and Loco giggled. She'd... have to come up with something. Whoever she'd become when she was fighting Tres Magia, that
wasn't
Hiiragi Utena.
Wait, when did she start thinking as if she was going to stick with this? She couldn't just keep carving pieces off of magical girls. She needed to find a way to escape, and bring her mother, and...
And they'd catch her. If they fought, how many pieces of her would end up in this room?
Or... she could just. Go with it. It was... fun, wasn't it? Magical girls were supposed to face danger, that was what made them so special. Would it be so bad to be one of the dangers that defined them?
Her eyes fell on the closest case. She hadn't noticed the plaques at first, but each display had one.
FEET OF MAGIA VERDE
SEIZED BY LOCO MUSICA
Next to the words was a small photo. A green-clad magical girl, facing the camera with a bold grin.
"Ooh, that's one of mine!" Loco called out, suddenly right behind her. "I blew off both her legs, but her feet stayed in one piece. ...Two pieces? One piece each!"
"A-Ah..." Utena shivered again. The same feet Magia Verde had stood with while taking the photo... now preserved here. The two states of the feet felt so disparate, so irreconcilable, yet the dissonance gripped her, tugging at her body as she gasped for breath.
Next to the case was a small jar, the same size as the one Loco had used for Sulfur's eye. Inside lay a penis, nestled against a pair of balls.
GENITALS OF MAGIA CRIMSON
SEIZED BY LEBERBLUME
The girl in the photo looked timid, but excited. Her hair and outfit were bright red.
A raspy laugh announced Leberblume's presence. "That was a fun one. Should've seen her face."
Utena's underwear felt tight again. She... she shouldn't keep going, but she couldn't look away, she
had
to see more...
One case stood taller than the rest. Two full legs, propped up by plastic supports. At the top sat the hips, rear, and nethers of their owner, the crotch marked with deep purple pubic hair.
LOWER HALF OF MAGIA INDIGO
SEIZED BY LORD ENORME
Utena bent her hips, and the movement was enough. Her insides pounded, ecstasy shot through her, and a sticky stain began to spread through the front of her underwear. She gasped and clutched at her skirt, trying to keep it from making contact.
"So you
really
liked that one." Leber's hand clasped her shaking shoulder, and Utena let out a shrill noise.
"I-I-I-I-I-"
Leber glanced back towards the exit. "How about we get you to the showers, huh?"
Utena buried her face in her hands. Right now, showering sounded less preferable than drowning.
"Oh for fuck's sake. Am I gonna have to- ...I am
not
carrying you right now. Loco, gimme a hand."
Loco and Leber each grabbed one of Utena's wrists and tugged her towards the door. She stumbled, then caught herself.
"I-I-I-I can walk! Please let me go!"
Leber released the wrist she held, and Loco followed suit. "Good, that would've been a pain. Just follow us, then."
The two of them lead the way, while Utena slunk on after them. Venalita hovered alongside her, wearing its usual eerie smile.
"Th... that plaque mentioned Lore Enorme," Utena got out. "Who's that?"
"She's our leader!" Loco remarked. "She's
really
tough. She brought in like half of those trophies."
"She's scary, too," Leber added. "Don't talk back to her.
Definitely
don't cream your pants around her."
Utena reddened and looked away. "Y-You two seem pretty scary already..."
"Scary?" Loco asked. "I'm a beautiful pop idol! And Leber's just a nerd."
Leber scoffed. "
Just a nerd?
You didn't see how I greeted our newbie."
"I saw your texts!" Loco retorted. "You were bragging about it being like a horror movie!"
"Wh-" Leber stopped walking. "Hey! Don't tell
her
that!"
Utena's eyes jumped between the pair. This was... less intimidating, but still scary in its own way.
Before long, they reached the changing room. Loco removed her jacket, then looked at Utena expectantly. "Come on! What are you waiting for?"
Utena's eyes went to the floating fairy. "Is... Venalita sticking around?"
"I already have videos of all three of you transforming," Venalita replied.
Utena looked away and tried not to think about that. Over such a short time, she'd fallen in so deep.
She stepped out of her shoes, then took off her shirt and bra. The rest was... a bigger issue. She carefully removed her skirt, then stared down at the wet spot on her leggings. She took a breath to steady herself, then dropped them, followed by the sticky panties beneath them. She did her best to keep the mess's source out of view, but there was only so much she could do.
"I can get those washed for you," Venalita offered. "You'll want a change of clothes, right?"
At this point, the alternative seemed worse. "O-Okay. Thanks..."
Venalita took the clothes and flew off. Utena shivered.
Leberblume stepped into view, fully nude. "So you do have a dick. You didn't have one when you transformed, did you?"
"I-I don't think so," Utena admitted.
"Wait, your bits change when you transform?" Loco advanced, a towel around her waist. "That's so cool! Let me see!"
Utena clamped both hands over her groin. "N-No way!"
"Hey, newbie, did you forget?" Leber stepped close enough for her dick to press against Utena's thigh. "You're not in a position to say no to things. Show us your damn pussy."
Utena's face flushed. "I-I-I..."
"Exactly!" Loco grinned. "Even transformed, it's not like you could fight us and win. So you'd better do what we say!"
There really wasn't anything she could do, was there? If she tried to resist... she didn't want to think about what they might do.
"T-Trans Magia..." she whispered.
This time, she didn't have any clothes to remove. Her dick withdrew into her body, and her villain outfit materialized around her.
"Leber, you were right!" Loco exclaimed. "Hey, newbie! Let me take a closer look!"
Utena's eyes darted back and forth. Was Leberblume going to keep backing her up?
"You heard her, right?" Leber reached a hand forward and peeled away the star covering Utena's right nipple, and Utena yelped and moved her left hand to cover it. "Strip. Again."
Utena shed one layer after another of the bizarre clothes she'd changed into. She'd never worn things like these before, and figuring out how they worked would have been enough challenge even without her hands shaking. At least it gave her something to think about other than the pair in front of her.
"So you know what's best for you. Good."
Leberblume advanced, backing Utena up to the wall of lockers, then slammed a hand against the wall by her right ear. Something pressed on her again - Leber's dick, but this time, it was hard.
"Now, let's see how it feels."
Warm flesh pushed its way into the hole between Utena's legs. She gasped and tried to shove Leber away, but she was too exhausted to find the strength. Leber pinned her in place, withdrawing then pushing back in.
It... some of the sensations did feel good. But it wasn't supposed to be like this.
Moans tore their way out of Utena, fiercer than she could hold back. Orgasm rippled out through her body, and Leber was shaking too, warm liquid erupting out from her and into Utena.
Eventually, the feelings died down. Utena collapsed against the wall, and Leberblume slumped onto her. After a moment, Leber extracted herself from Utena, and Utena's transformation dissipated - leaving her junk covered in three different fluids. She... transforming for a few minutes wouldn't let her get pregnant, right?
Leber's jagged grin returned. "How's that for a welcome, huh?"
Utena looked away. Her eyes fell on Loco Musica, whose face was bright red as she stared transfixed.
Leber tugged on Utena's shoulder. "Now, let's get you cleaned up for real. Then we can send you home to your dear mother. Sound good?"
Utena nodded. She did need to get clean and go home. And... Leber was right.
She wasn't in a position to say no to things.

Chapter 3: A Plague on Both Your Houses
Kaoruko stared into the mirror, into the hole where her left eye had been.
Who the
fuck
did those bitches think they were?
Vatz floated out from behind her. "Okay. Now... focus on how your face is supposed to look."
Kaoruko closed her remaining eye and focused on how her missing one had looked. She reached for the magic coursing through her body, and with just a pinch of it, she painted an illusion.
Two eyes stared back at her in the mirror. Both blinked in unison, both rotated as she turned her head. But only one could see.
"I can work with this."
"Are you sure?" Vatz asked. "It's a weak spell, but maintaining it for hours will add up. And if you slip up..."
"I can handle it," Kaoruko growled. "I'm not gonna let people find out that Tenkawa Kaoruko lost an eye on the same day Magia Sulfur did. And I'm not taking any suspicious absences from school, either. It's just a few days until we can get me set up with a glass eye, right?"
"If it all goes well," Vatz replied. "But it won't be a perfect match..."
Kaoruko shrugged. "It'll be less noticeable. It's fine if people find out I lost the eye eventually as long as they don't know
when
. I bet I could gaslight 'em into thinking I've had the glass eye for years."
The fairy's plush face wrinkled. "That's really not how a magical girl should act, you know. Speaking of which... at the end of that fight, were you trying to use your special move?"
"What the
FUCK?
" Kaoruko shoved her face up to Vatz's. "You're complaining that I tried to bring out the big guns
after
I lost my fucking eye? If I'd done it before I got caught I wouldn't have gotten hurt at all!"
Vatz rubbed its hands nervously. "Y-Yes, but for the image we want to show our sponsors..."
"Our sponsors can lick the gunk out of my fucking
eye socket!
" Kaoruko's glare returned to the mirror. "I looked up that hooded girl, you know. Leberblume. Her organization loves chopping off bits of magical girls, and it sounds like they keep them as trophies. I am
not
holding back against those creeps!"
"I... can try to persuade them to accept a change in your image," Venz conceded. "It may cost us some of our funding..."
"Good," Kaoruko spat. "Do it."
Vatz floated away. Kaoruko dropped the spell and screamed.
---
Going to school required keeping the illusion active. Haruka and Sayo insisted on coming to her house to pick her up.
"Morning, Kaoruko!" Haruka called out with a wave, then switched to telepathy.
"Your spell looks like it's working. How are you holding up?"
"Could be worse,"
Kaoruko replied.
"The painkillers help, but it still stings like a bitch. We just have to crush those fuckers before they hurt anyone else."
"I can't believe we let that happen..."
Sayo lamented.
"If Magenta and I had been faster..."
Kaoruko glared at her.
"Hey, I don't want to hear your fucking self-pity. I'm the one in charge of defense, and I'm done going into battles at half strength. Next time we fight, I'll smash 'em before they know what's going on."
''
Sayo put her hands up in surrender. "I didn't mean it like that! But... if Vatz is fine with you doing that, it should make things a lot easier."''
"As if I give a shit about-"
A group of kids half their size zoomed past the trio. "Hey, look at those girls! Are they miming or something?"
Haruka knelt down next to the one who'd spoken. "Sometimes if you know someone well enough, you don't need words to convey what you're thinking."
"Wait, really?" She turned to the others. "See if you can guess what I'm thinking!"
The group ran off, and the trio sighed in relief.
---
Classes were... exhausting. She had to maintain the enchantment any time she might be seen, jagged shapes flashed in the missing half of her vision, and the painkillers gradually wore off over the course of the day. Maybe bringing more would have been worth the risk of getting caught.
"Hey, Kaoruko? You've been turning your head a lot..."
"It's the only way I can see the left side of the board!"
"I-I know, I just... wanted to make sure you knew."
"Right. Yeah. Sorry."
"I can tell you what it says, if that would help?"
"Sure. Thanks, Haruka."
Kaoruko glanced over at Haruka. She smiled, and Kaoruko couldn't help but return it.
---
"Hey, are you okay?"
Kaoruko looked around for the sound of Haruka's voice. Before she could respond, a girl further down the hallway replied.
"I-I'm fine... I didn't sleep well, that's all..."
Kaoruko recognized the girl's purple hair and nervous expression. She couldn't remember her name - she didn't seem to like attention.
"Oh, yeah, I hate it when that happens!" Haruka smiled. "If you need anything, let me know, okay?"
"Th-thanks..."
The girl shuffled away.
"Who was that?" Kaoruko asked.
"Her name's Hiiragi Utena," Haruka explained. "She looked stressed, so I wanted to check on her."
"Does she ever
not
look stressed?" Kaoruko asked. "Every time I've seen her, she's been jumpy as hell."
Haruka shrugged. "Sure, but... more than usual this time?"
"That's fair." Kaoruko switched to telepathy.
"It'd be a bad time to have more people hanging around us right now, though, you know?"
"R-Right, you don't want them looking closely at you. I'll be careful!"
"Yeah. Thanks."
---
Kaoruko dismissed the enchantment, then swallowed a handful of pills and a glass of water. Finally free from keeping up appearances, at least for the moment.
The socket felt... icky. She cleaned and dried it as well as she could, then put on her eyepatch. Not a bad look, in spite of the circumstances.
The
circumstances
. Thinking back on what had happened made her blood boil. A moment of underestimating that girl had let her pull her apart like a stuffed animal, and then her friend bailed her out before they could kill her.
Her missing eye stared into the past, into the final moments of the fight. She saw herself get stabbed, but keep her wits, enough to finish enchanting her arms. They multiplied in size, each seizing one of the villains, squeezing them.
In the present, Kaoruko flopped into her bed. Her fingers slipped into her skirt, into her underwear, into herself. She crushed the pair, bones splintering and blood spurting out, and the pressure reverberated into her, erupting in a moan.
She squeezed harder, and they crumpled into paper, and she folded against herself, and then unfurled like a spring as excitement shot through her.
The sticky fluid on her hand wasn't blood. Not yet. But soon, she would fix that.

Chapter 4: Eat Your Cake and Have It Too
Utena's phone buzzed with a new text. Her mother had no need to text her at home, which left a poor selection of options.
> Loco: Here's another one of Loco's songs! Check it out~
According to Leberblume, watching and complimenting all of Loco's songs was of vital importance. Which was arguably less unpleasant than the rest of Enormita's business, at least.
She
really
hoped no one was monitoring her messages. If the wrong person read them... she didn't want to think about what might happen.
> Utena: Oh, wow... Your voice is so captivating, Loco
> Loco: That's a genuine idol for you!
> Loco: Hey, speaking of stage presence. Have you picked out a title yet?
> Utena: Ah... I'm still working on that...
Venalita had brought her some books to reference, but thinking of a title for herself... Talking to people had been hard even before all of this.
What would a good person have done? Fought Leber and gotten her mother to safety? Committed ritual suicide on the spot? There were things
someone
could have done, but she couldn't imagine being that someone.
Because she was weak, she'd hurt Sulfur, and she was going to have to keep hurting the magical girls.
Because she was weak, and... because Venalita was right about her. Because she really did think like a villain.
"Utena?" her mother called from the doorway. "I'm going shopping... If you hear anything strange in the next hour, leave the house and call the police. Okay?"
"Y-Yeah... I got it. Thanks..."
Her mother had described the incident as a break-in. She'd avoided mention of the specifics, and Utena hadn't asked why nothing seemed to be missing.
The strangeness of the incident seemed to have left her particularly rattled. Utena wouldn't let it happen again.
Her mother's footsteps grew distant, then vanished.
She was supposed to be studying, wasn't she? She pulled out her textbook and stared at it. Her eyes trudged their way back and forth and down the page, she tried to remember what it had said and came up blank.
Maybe reading something else would help ease her into it. She went to her collection of magical girl manga and reviewed the selection. So many of them didn't feel right to read right now, but her eyes fell on one that had always made her feel... weird. The one about the girl whose magic made her bleed from the eyes.
"Ooh, are you looking for inspiration for what to do to the magical girls?"
Utena spun around to face the source. "V-Venalita? How long have you been there?"
"I always keep tabs on my partners," Venalita assured her. "But you know, I am worried about you. You promised you'd keep fighting Tres Magia, but you've been sitting around for three days! Surely you haven't found yourself insufficiently... motivated?"
"N-Not at all!" Utena protested. "It's just, after how last time went..."
"Oh, yeah, the skewering." Venalita glanced at Utena's stomach. "Did you get a cool scar?"
"Um, not really...?" Her healing had erased most signs of the injury. "But fighting them again like that sounds r-risky..."
"That just means you should try splitting 'em up!" Venalita suggested. "You can't go under the radar like Leberblume, but I'm sure you can figure something out. And if things go wrong, you're getting the hang of making portals, right?"
"K-Kind of?" She was making progress, but she was a lot slower with them than Leberblume. "Wouldn't it be safer to fight alongside Leberblume and Loco Musica...?"
The idea of being safer around either of them sounded ridiculous. But regardless of everything else, Leber did successfully rescue her.
"They've both got plenty of business to take care of elsewhere," Venalita reminded her. "You don't want to just wait for them to finish, right? Come on, let's go!"
Venalita summoned a small portal and floated into it. Was it going to keep watching her to know where to reappear, or did it have some other way of tracking her? Neither option sounded appealing.
Either way, she couldn't keep putting this off. Utena stepped outside and cast a wary look at her surroundings. If she transformed in the middle of town, she'd risk the magical girls converting on her location. But if she went to the outskirts... maybe they wouldn't all show up at once.
She made her way across town. It had already been hard to shake the fear of people's gazes, as if they might be judging her for some transgression she'd committed unknowingly, just from being there. And now she
knew
she'd transgressed. Would they figure it out? Would they smell her guilt and corruption?
She wasn't sure where she was going, but her feet carried her along until a familiar sight came into view. The Minakami family's shrine.
Maybe this was what she needed. Utena walked towards the offering box, formulating a prayer as she reached forward.
Please, help me be better than this, not someone who does things like...
"Ooh, are you praying for success in battle?"
Utena yelped and dropped the coin. "V-Vena! What are you..."
"Relax, no one's close enough to see. Anyway, your friends are doing well! They even sent me a photo..."
Venalita held out its phone, and automatically, Utena looked at the screen. A photo of a magical girl in lime green robes, covered in blood, left hand clutching at the stump where the right should have been.
This was no place to be looking at something like that. Utena tried to avert her gaze, but couldn't tear her eyes away from the girl's agonized face. So pained, so unlike a magical girl, so...
Something rippled through Utena, then poured out to wrap around her. Purple light filled her vision, and when it cleared, she had transformed.
"Wh-What?" Utena stammered. "How did..."
"Looks like that got you excited, huh?" Venalita stowed its phone. "Well, that should get the magical girls' attention. Good luck!"
The fairy floated up towards the shrine roof. Should she try to flee? No, Venalita wouldn't like that. And...
She felt something. Magic? Was one of them here?
"You! What are you doing
here
of all places?"
Utena recognized the voice before she turned around. Magia Azure.
"I-I..." For a moment, she was just Hiiragi Utena, standing before one of the magical girls she idolized, and horribly underdressed. But she couldn't be Utena, not right now. She needed to be...
That thing she'd become the first time they'd fought. The monster that taunted the magical girls and stole the eye of Magia Sulfur. The villain who did such awful things - and got to have so much fun.
Magia Azure didn't wait for an answer. She was already flying forward, her wand growing into a blade of ice.
Utena swung her riding crop at the closest thing in reach. The offering box swelled in size, growing wooden arms and legs, and let out a roar. It leaped between the two of them, and Azure's sword smashed into its body, coins tumbling out.
"How
dare
you profane this sacred site?"
She needed something else. What would make a good monster? How did this even work? Why was a flower stronger than an offering box?
A shelf held a row of kitsune masks. Would those be any better, somehow?
All she could do was try. She struck one of the masks, but... it didn't grow the way the other things had. It floated off the shelf, and as Utena's eyes returned to Azure, the mask flew towards her.
It latched onto Azure's face, sprouting belts to secure itself around its head and covering her eyes in the process. She gasped in shock, raising her sword towards the box monster, but its next strike knocked the blade out of her hands. It shoved her to the ground, pinning her by the wrists.
"E-Enough of this!" Azure shouted. "Release me!"
Utena circled the monster, then knelt down by Azure's head and ran her fingers from her right shoulder up her neck and across her ear. "I do admire your skill with that sword, Magia Azure. But now... There's nothing you can do, is there?"
She reached further, to squeeze Azure's right breast, eliciting a gasp from its owner. She felt her way along Azure's armpits and sides, then willed the monster to give her room to reach her lower body. She reached under Azure's dress to grasp her struggling thighs, then between them, an erection as rigid as the blade she'd held.
"What are you- Nnh!"
Utena spoke softly, just loud enough for Azure to hear. "It's exciting, isn't it? Being so powerless. Your whole body belongs to me, now. I could take as much as I want. But for someone so magnificent... Wouldn't it be a shame to go that far so soon?"
She stood, walked to where Azure's ice sword had fallen, and picked it up.
"Today, I'll take just a taste, and save the rest to enjoy later."
Azure's breaths turned heavy, fearful. "Wh... What?"
With one hand, Utena held Azure's right ankle steady. With the other, she carved into it. Azure howled in pain, as flesh, tendon, and bone split apart.
She sawed deeper, down to the Achilles tendon, then through it, and the foot fell fully free. Magia Azure's cries turned to whimpers as she tried to retract the maimed leg. The blood flow was already starting to slow - the thing magical healing
could
address.
Utena kept her grip on Azure's ankle, leaned in, and kissed it.
Azure shuddered and whimpered again. She had exhausted her supply of words.
Utena had not. Words from a variety of languages swirled through her thoughts - through
whoever
she was supposed to be right now. And from them, a title emerged.
Two other magical signatures were approaching. It was time to wrap this up.
"Farewell, Magia Azure," she announced. "When your friends arrive, tell them you lost to Magia Baiser."
Magia Azure made only noises in reply. Magia Baiser picked up her foot and walked away.
Venalita floated down to her. "Magia Baiser, huh? Nicely done. Now let's get outta here, and I'll walk you through your first embalming."
"O-Okay." Baiser nodded, her bravado slipping away. Out of Azure's presence, she didn't
feel
like Magia Baiser anymore.
Venalita created a portal in front of them, and together, they passed through it.

Chapter 5: Freak The Fuck Out And Panic Sell Everything Right Now
Vatz followed Magenta and Sulfur to Azure's location. They were too slow to catch sight of the villain, but they did see the grisly aftermath.
Magia Azure, on the ground by her family's shrine, dazed and missing a foot. Nearby lay her blood-splattered wand, a kitsune mask, and a smashed offering box. Coins were strewn about - each small, but together demonstrating the town's piety.
"A-Azure!" Magenta called out. "What just... Your foot..."
Azure fumbled with her words. "I... she... Magia Baiser..."
"The new villain?" Sulfur asked. "Is that what she's calling herself?"
Sulfur sat down next to Azure. Magenta set about cleaning and bandaging her wounded leg.
"Yeah, she..." Azure winced and inhaled at Magenta's movement. "Used the mask and box, and... with my sword..."
It wasn't hard to imagine events that might have ended like this. But something felt off.
Sulfur, it seemed, had a different concern. "I can't believe you took her on alone. You saw what her monsters can do!"
"I-I know, but..." Azure's gaze dropped. "She was right here, and..."
Vatz floated closer to her. "This new villain, Magia Baiser. Even without a full understanding of what she can do, taking her on alone appears... dangerous. There's nothing we can do about what's already happened, but we shouldn't repeat this. If any of you encounter her alone again, try to just observe from a safe distance and wait to engage once you're all together. Okay?"
Azure nodded. "I understand."
Magical girls were valuable investments, both strategically and financially. A marketable one with the right contracts could bring in millions of yen per month, but there was no shortage of expenses in getting them to that point and keeping them there. And the market was not kind to girls who didn't adhere to its preferred image. A missing eye could be hidden, or an eyepatch incorporated into a suitable "cool" or "tough" persona like the one Sulfur now sought. But a missing foot...
For a magical girl adept at levitation, loss of a foot was less of a blow to expected combat performance than losing an eye. But the impact on marketability was far greater. It was no issue if the public didn't find out, but trying to conceal it would pose its own challenges.
And there were two prongs to that dilemma. Concealing the state of Magia Azure, and that of Minakami Sayo.
"Azure, you will have to take time off school," Vatz insisted. "There's no way we can hide your condition fast enough for you to attend uninterrupted. And if we don't hide it..."
Magia Baiser knew that Magia Azure had just lost a foot, and was surely spreading word to her allies. And identifying Sayo as part of Tres Magia would in turn cast doubt upon the two friends she was always with - the trio who always left class or other obligations right before Tres Magia appeared. All three of them
and
their families would become easy pickings for Enormita.
Sulfur's condition rendered the situation even more dire. Even if Sayo and Kaoruko both successfully concealed the timing of their injuries, if word got out that they both had wounds matching members of Tres Magia, it would raise all the same issues. Which meant they would need to find a longer-term solution before things could reach that point.
"...I guess not," Azure conceded. "What about my family?"
That was a stickier issue. "Hiding your injury from them would make it difficult to interact with them until you can obtain a prosthetic foot. Even then, you would have to only let them see you while wearing and concealing the prosthetic. If they do learn about your condition, we will have to convince them to keep it secret, which may require revealing your magical girl status. I don't think we have any good options here, but whichever one you prefer, I'll do my best to help."
Azure's gaze dropped. "I don't want them to know. But if we try to hide it and fail, that could make things worse, right?"
"That is a concern, yes," Vatz agreed. "In any case, we should take this discussion indoors. Azure, can you try levitating?"
Sulfur and Magenta gave her space. Azure began to rise, then jerked to a stop with a pained noise.
"Moving your leg means jostling the injury," Vatz noted. "But please try to endure it. Sulfur, can you get some pain medication?"
"Yeah, sure." Sulfur flew off.
Azure tried again, straightening her body as it left the ground. "I feel... wobbly."
Other wounded magical girls had reported similar issues. "Your body has become asymmetric. It will take time for you to adjust."
Azure nodded.
There was still a mess here to deal with. The blood, in particular, would raise questions. "Magenta, could you clean up the rest of this?"
"Of course!" Magenta agreed.
Vatz and Azure floated inside. Azure sat down, then crossed her legs and massaged her bandaged ankle.
Pressing too much would be unkind. But something wasn't adding up.
"Azure... why did Magia Baiser leave when she did?"
Azure's eyes jumped to attention. "Huh?"
"The first time we fought her, she only withdrew after Magenta wounded her. But this time, she fled before Sulfur and Magenta even arrived, and I can't figure out why."
Azure's gaze dropped to where her foot should have been. "I, um..."
"I'm sorry to ask you to think back on such a painful moment," Vatz said. "But it could help us to understand her."
"M-Maybe she wanted to play it safe this time?" Azure suggested.
"An increase in caution would make sense," Vatz agreed. "But with the time she had available... This is unpleasant to think about, but she could have hurt you more and still escaped. It's strange that she didn't."
Azure looked away. "I... guess so."
She was clearly still in pain, processing what had happened, and working through the remorse of knowing she could have avoided it. There were all sorts of reasons for her to show signs of anxiety.
And... Vatz couldn't think of a reason why she would hide something like this.
It wasn't enough to completely shake the feeling. But it was enough that Vatz couldn't justify voicing it.
There were enough other things to consider. In order for Magia Azure to reliably wear a prosthetic foot for long periods of time, she would need multiple high-quality prosthetics, likely hundreds of thousands of yen each. At a time when Sulfur's expected profitability was set to drop, and it was only a matter of time before Azure's would drop further. And if any of them suffered additional injuries, it would further jeopardize income, combat performance, and morale.
Other funds could be made available to patch up gaps, but selling stocks would mean forfeiting their contributions to future income, and cutting into charitable donations would mean reducing the good they were accomplishing right now. Would they have to contribute less to malaria prevention now to protect their opportunity to do more good later?
If things got bad enough, there was always the option to torpedo the operation and start over. Repossess the group's transformation devices in exchange for generous severance pay and witness protection protocols for the girls and their families, then use the devices to establish a new group. But both sides of that equation involved significant costs in time and money. As long as Tres Magia showed no interest in a step like that, it was better to keep things as they were.
Before long, Sulfur arrived with medication and water. Magenta was next, offering box in tow.
"Azure, where should I put this?" Magenta asked.
"Just set it down there," Azure replied. "As long as it's not in the way, it's fine. And... thanks for the help, all of you."
Most of the immediate issues were settling down. That in mind...
"Azure's wound has likely finished closing by now," Vatz announced. "We should check on it."
Magenta removed the wrappings. As expected, it had recovered to a degree that would have taken a regular human weeks of recovery, and likely professional medical attention. Magical healing couldn't replace missing appendages, but as Sulfur's stab wound had demonstrated, it was fast and effective at other repair. There was, however, still plenty of discharge from before it had finished healing.
"You're still a mess, huh?" Sulfur observed. "Let's hit the showers."
Azure's eyes returned to her ankle. "Yeah. Um, I'm not quite sure how to, well..."
"We'll help, of course!" Magenta promised.
Vatz followed the three of them to their destination. It left them privacy for the task at hand, but remained in earshot in case anything came up.
"...Magenta? Why are you looking at me like that?"
"S-Sorry! I didn't mean to stare. I was just thinking about, um, earlier..."
"Earlier?"
"When I was putting on your bandages. I noticed that your, um, thing was..."
"Wait. Azure, is she saying you had a fuckin'
hard-on
?"
"I-It happens sometimes! It doesn't mean anything, it's just how these things..."
"I KNOW HOW DICKS WORK, AZURE. It's from extra blood in 'em, right? And you just lost a bunch of blood! If you were getting hard right after that, it sure sounds like you got turned on from getting your foot chopped off!"
"I-It's not like th-"
"DID YOU GET TURNED ON AGAIN BECAUSE I SAID THAT. AZURE WHAT THE FUCK."
Vatz gripped the ends of its ears. Perhaps it had underestimated the level of concern.

Chapter 6: Long Live the Queen
EYE OF MAGIA SULFUR
SEIZED BY MAGIA BAISER
-
FOOT OF MAGIA AZURE
SEIZED BY MAGIA BAISER
Utena stared at the pair of cases that now sat alongside all the others. Just two instances of the same act, repeated dozens of times.
Except... it wasn't the same, was it? None of the others seemed to share her love for magical girls. They hurt them to defeat them, while she... she'd been forced into this, but also, she believed in them. No matter what she did to Tres Magia, it had to make them even more amazing. Because that was who they were.
"See, Baiser?" Loco Musica remarked. "I knew you could do it! You're still no match for
me
, of course, but you'll be on par with Leber before you know it!"
Leberblume laughed. "So you're as delusional as ever, huh? Baiser, just ignore her."
By now, Utena - no,
Magia Baiser
right now - was used to the pair's blustering. Even so, it was hard not to wonder. Leberblume had proved fearsome in that first battle, and while Baiser still hadn't seen Loco Musica fight firsthand, her explosive songs sounded terrifying. Could she find a way to measure up to them? And if she did... what would happen from there?
"So, um, if that's everything... Can I go home now?"
"No way!" Loco insisted. "We've barely hung out at all!"
Baiser swallowed. She wasn't much for hanging out with people, especially this pair. At least it wasn't Leber trying to welcome her, although it was hard to call Loco's singing any better.
"Sorry, but you'll have to postpone that," purred Venalita. "I've just received word that our leader is on her way."
Loco straightened up, looking as close to serious as she seemed able. "L-Lord Enorme wants to see us? Did she say why?"
Venalita's eyes fell on Magia Baiser. "She wants to meet our new member," Venalita clarified. "Of course, the presence of you and Leberblume is expected as well."
"Of course." Leber retained her usual hunched pose as she turned. "You remember what I said, right? Be on your best behavior. You do
not
want to see her angry."
Baiser nodded. "Y-Yeah."
She did her best to hide her nervousness. Anxiety was for Hiiragi Utena. Any time she wore the meager clothes of Magia Baiser was no time for that.
"Well, if you're all ready..." Venalita motioned to the door. "Let's head for the great hall."
Continued time in Nacht Base didn't make its layout any more comprehensible. Rooms were arranged haphazardly with no apparent thought to function, and many of the less-polished ones appeared built for walking on the walls or ceiling. It was little surprise that the "great hall" was simply a large, empty room.
The four of them were the first to arrive. Before long, two figures joined them.
It was easy to tell which was Lord Enorme. She stood far taller than anyone else in the room, and wore what looked like military attire on top of a kimono. A line of four stars ran down the middle of her forehead, all in Enormita's usual four-pointed shape. She looked several years older than the rest of them - an actual adult.
Her companion followed to her right. Her green military-style jacket matched Lord Enorme's style, but the fully visible panties below it did not. Nor did her excited expression.
The trophy room had credited one other member of Enormita: Leoparde. She hadn't brought in many trophies, but seeing her like this, it didn't look like the reason was a lack of victories.
Baiser wondered if she should kneel, but Loco and Leber were still standing. She followed Loco's lead in straightening up as much as she could.
Lord Enorme's voice boomed out, every word packed with gravity. "So you are Magia Baiser."
Baiser nodded. "Y... Yes."
"Magia Baiser is our newest addition," Venalita announced. "She's scored two victories in her first week, and I have high hopes for her continued achievement."
"High hopes?" Lord Enorme repeated. "That is at odds with the footage you gathered."
Footage? Had Venalita continued recording her? Baiser swallowed, chill spreading across her skin. "I-I beg your pardon?"
Lord Enorme walked closer, her shadow looming across Magia Baiser. "In your first fight with the magical girls, you fought until they gained the upper hand. But in your second, you left while
you
had the advantage. Why?"
Did she know what she had said to Magia Azure? There was nothing she could say to talk her way out of that. She had to hope that Venalita had been too far away to catch it.
"I... wanted to be cautious," Baiser replied. "I knew I didn't have Leberblume to rescue me, so I didn't want to risk fighting all three at once. I left when I noticed them closing in, but I think I jumped the gun a bit... I-I apologize for that."
"Cowardice has no place in this organization." Lord Enorme's glare intensified. "You do understand your role, do you not? You are to weaken the magical girls until they can be safely disposed of, so they will not stand in the way of our conquest."
Baiser's eyes widened. "Wh-what?"
"Did Venalita explain
nothing
to you?" Lord Enorme thundered. "I hope that is not because you would object to our goals.
Would
you?"
If she spoke her mind, she was dead or worse. "N-No, of course not."
Lord Enorme looked unconvinced. "Hmph. But that is not my only concern with your conduct. Why did you go for her foot at all? You could have severed an entire leg, or perhaps an arm."
"I, um... didn't think of that," Baiser lied.
Behind Lord Enorme, Leoparde tossed a grenade from one hand to the other. "You're a real mess, huh?
Magia Baiser.
Sounds like you can't do anything right!"
"That name only adds to my concerns," Lord Enorme growled. "Venalita had to drag you into your first fight, and in your second, you took a name in the style of our enemies. Perhaps your hesitancy to further harm Magia Azure was due to your sympathies lying elsewhere."
"N-Not at all!" Baiser protested. "I'll show you next time, I swear!"
Lord Enorme tilted her head. "For your sake -
and
your mother's - I hope you will. In the meantime... I will make this a lesson you will not forget."
The right side of Baiser's face exploded with pain as Lord Enorme's fist collided with it. She stumbled back, raising a hand to her nose, and her fingers dripped red with blood.
Lord Enorme advanced, a whip in her right hand. It lashed forward, colliding with Baiser's nearly-bare breasts, and she screamed.
"FACE ME!" Lord Enorme bellowed. "I will tolerate no more of your cowardice!"
Baiser did her best to force her trembling body into place. Straight back, eyes forward, arms at her sides. Whatever Lord Enorme did to her, it would heal. Right?
The next punch slammed into her gut. Baiser coughed out the blood filling her throat, then straightened once more, and Lord Enorme continued. Whip, punch. Whip, punch.
Baiser lost count of how many times she'd been struck. Her vision blurred - standing was becoming increasingly difficult. She swayed, then began to fall.
A hand seized her, holding her upright. A hand around her neck.
The other hand joined it, and Lord Enorme lifted her off the ground, eyes level with her own. Baiser gasped for breath.
"You understand now, don't you? You
won't
disappoint me again."
Baiser tried to speak, but couldn't muster the air to form words. Her transformation dropped, leaving her as just... Utena.
Just Utena, held like this, in her normal body. Which meant... oh no.
"Was that supposed to be an answer? Speak up."
"My lord," Venalita remarked, "I'm not sure that's physically possible right now."
"Ugh." Lord Enorme released Utena, and she crumpled to the ground. "Then give your answer from the floor. Have you learned your-"
Lord Enorme's eyes widened. She was staring down at Utena, down at... where her skirt had lifted, revealing the bulge of an erection.
"Remove your clothes," Lord Enorme commanded. "NOW."
Utena struggled to force her body to cooperate. Still on the floor, she peeled away clothes one by one, praying the arousal would fade. But with every pang of shame came another throb to hold it steady. As she finally removed her panties, she put a hand in their place, in hopes of concealing what lay beneath.
"Hands at your sides."
Utena flattened herself against the ground. There was nothing she could do now.
"So it's true. You've been
enjoying
this."
"I-I..." Utena coughed. "I'm not... it's not like that! It just... happens sometimes, it doesn't mean..."
"Ah, of course." The rage faded from Lord Enorme's face, leaving her looking almost calm. "It's not
you
that's responsible for this unsightly display, merely your body betraying you."
"A-Ah, yes, that's..."
"Very well." Lord Enorme's eyes met Utena's. "Then I shall remove the problem."
"N-NO!" Utena's blood froze. "I-I-I, I misspoke! I w-wasn't controlled enough, but I can do better! I-It won't happen again!"
"You're right. It won't." Lord Enorme lowered herself to the floor, her knees pinning Utena's thighs in place. "Leberblume. Give me a blade."
Leberblume walked up to the two of them. She shot Utena an apologetic look, then placed a star-shaped dagger in Lord Enorme's hand. Without a word, she turned away.
Lord Enorme took hold of Utena's shaft, and set the dagger against its base.
"I-I promise, you don't need to do this!" Utena pleaded. "I g-get your point!"
"No. I don't think you do."
It took just one swift motion. Utena's groin exploded into pain, and the flesh in Lord Enorme's hand lifted from her body. The blood that had engorged it dripped back down onto her.
How much blood was she losing? How much could her magic help when she wasn't transformed?
She swore she could still feel the missing piece of her body. It
should have
been there but it wasn't, just like all the pieces of the magical girls that... oh no.
Another fluid erupted from her, tinted pink with blood. Lord Enorme jerked back in horror as some splashed onto her hand. Utena's heart raced, pumping more blood out of her crotch as the orgasm rolled through her.
Lord Enorme threw Utena's penis aside, stood, and delivered a kick to her ribs. Utena groaned, and her tormentor unleashed another kick.
"Lord Enorme?" Venalita asked. "Is it your intention to overpower Magia Baiser's healing and kill her?"
"I am not in the habit of wasting assets," Lord Enorme conceded. She wiped the semen from her hand, then surveyed the room. "Leberblume, patch her up. Loco Musica - embalm that thing, and put it on display in my office. And Magia Baiser..."
She leaned in close. Utena whimpered.
"I trust that you now understand your expectations. Disappoint me again, and your next punishment will be worse. Do not make me take anything more from you."
Utena nodded. Lord Enorme withdrew. Loco Musica picked up the discarded phallus. Leberblume was already out of sight.
"Wow, you really shit the bed here!" Leoparde jeered. "Better shape up, or get chopped up!"
Without another word, Lord Enorme walked away, Leoparde at her heels. Leberblume returned, her pockets full of supplies, and set about tending to the multitude of injuries.
"That was really something, huh?" Venalita remarked. "I thought she'd like the video. My bad!"
Leberblume remained silent. But unlike Venalita, she actually looked concerned.
Once she was sufficiently bandaged and cleaned up, Utena pulled her clothes back on, and Leber helped her to stand. Most of the damage was healing, but... her panties sat differently now. The wound still stung, and even aside from that...
Because she'd screwed up, she'd lost part of her body. Just like what had happened to the magical girls.
She couldn't screw up again. And that meant...
It meant she couldn't hold back. At any time, Lord Enorme could be watching, and she'd demand hurting them as much as possible.
Lord Enorme. She was the problem, wasn't she? If something happened to her...
Something burned within her, scouring away the earlier chills. It pulled on her, just like when she'd unwittingly transformed, but right now, she was too drained for the transformation to happen.
It erupted as a mad laugh. The voice of Magia Baiser from the body of Hiiragi Utena.
Leber gave her an odd look. "Baiser? You, uh... okay?"
"So Lord Enorme wants to see how much more I can do?" Magia Baiser asked. "I'll just have to demonstrate it."
"Excellent," Venalita replied. "I can't wait!"

Chapter 7: The Road to Hell
Utena dropped her panties, held her skirt out of the way, sat down, and did her best to aim the stream of urine down into the toilet. It was... more challenging, with only the stump of where her dick had been.
Too forceful of a stream could escape the bowl and make a mess. But too weak risked dribbling down her balls. She could avoid the issues by peeing transformed, but that wasn't usually practical.
Thankfully, the genitals she got from transforming didn't appear affected. And the untransformed ones still seemed to... work, in their own ways. They were just... smaller, and much better at concealing arousal.
Utena finished her task, wiping away the excess drips in the process, then washed her hands, because even as a villain she had
some
standards. Then it was time to return to class.
She hadn't seen Haruka in a few days, or the pair of girls who were always with her. Hopefully they were okay.
The day passed without event. It had been over a week since she'd met Venalita, and she'd recovered as much from the encounter with Lord Enorme as she ever would. Soon, they'd call her to fight again, and...
If she defeated Lord Enorme, it would justify whatever she had to do in the meantime. Right? She'd seen how many trophies Lord Enorme had collected, and if no one stopped her, she'd keep taking more.
But getting those trophies had taken power. And trying to face her... the idea didn't feel as exciting as taking on the magical girls. Lord Enorme was no warrior of justice.
In any case, she wasn't likely to see Lord Enorme again until after her next clash with Tres Magia. And when that happened, she'd have to put on a good show.
The way she'd handled Magia Azure was all wrong. Magical girls were never at their best when their foes held back. She needed to give it everything she had, and trust that they'd find a way to surpass it.
As she made her way home from school, a familiar figure floated into view.
"Hey, Utena! I've got all the stuff you wanted. Looks like we're good to go!"
Utena swallowed. "Ah... Thanks, Vena. What about the others...?"
"Loco Musica is going to hold a concert in half an hour," Venalita explained. "The three of you will use that to draw in the magical girls, then take 'em down."
That soon... "O-Okay. I'll be on my way."
Utena dropped off her supplies at home, then transformed and flew to the destination. Somehow, a crowd was already gathering. How had Loco managed to gather this kind of audience?
Their expressions were uniform, almost vacant, and they paid no attention to the arrival of Magia Baiser. Were they hypnotized? She'd heard of villains that could control people with music, but there wasn't any music yet. But off to the side...
Leberblume sat in the stage's shadow, her eyes on the video game in her hands. But her magical signature wasn't concealed like usual. She was doing something - and Baiser could guess what.
Venalita floated out of a portal, carrying a length of rope. It tossed it to Baiser, and she caught it.
"That's the one you wanted, right?" Vena asked.
"Y-Yes." Using the same one she'd practiced with should ensure the same results. "Let's... do this."
It didn't take long for Loco to take the stage. Baiser braced herself, and did her best to stay alert for any incoming magic. The music started, and Loco began to sing.
Loco is the best
The idol you all love
Everyone wants a piece of her
But Loco can't be shared
As always, her singing was completely off-key. Despite how many recordings she had of herself, she seemed fully unaware that anything was wrong.
People always offer Loco their heart
But Loco can't accept it
Loco has to be everyone's Loco
The beautiful Loco Musica! ♡
Three familiar magical signatures began moving towards them. Baiser looked over at Leberblume, who stowed her game, rose to her feet, and grinned back.
"Sorry, everyone!" Loco announced. "It looks like we'll be having a tiny little interruption. Before my next song, I hope you'll enjoy watching the defeat of Tres Magia!"
The trio flew into view. Magia Sulfur had her usual spot in the lead, now wearing an eyepatch and a furious expression. Magia Azure and Magia Magenta followed, weapons at the ready.
Baiser tossed the rope forward, then struck it. Its strands split apart, each blossoming into rope thicker than the original, then coiling into a towering figure. The monster opened its mouth and roared.
"SHI-BA-RIIIIIIIIII!!!"
"Don't even THINK about it!" Sulfur bellowed.
Her arms blazed gold, and this time they completed their transformation. Yellow energy radiated out between bands of black, and each arm was now about as large as the entire rest of her body.
She rocketed down towards the rope monster. Was there a way to stop her? If she was able to hit it, with something like that...
"VOIX FORTE!"
A sonic boom erupted out from Loco Musica. The force of her voice slammed into Magia Sulfur - or at least, into the arms shielding her. It was enough to blast her off course.
The other two magical girls flew to join her. Were they trying to stick together? No wonder, after how Magia Azure had fared on her own.
Speaking of Azure... she appeared to still have two feet beneath her. How interesting.
"My, my, Magia Azure," Magia Baiser called out. "Are you trying to hide your missing foot? Too ashamed of your loss to admit it?"
"I have nothing to be ashamed of!" Magia Azure declared.
Baiser grinned. "Let's see about that!"
The rope monster raised an arm towards the trio, and it split into dozens of ropes reaching towards them. Sulfur obliterated half of them with a scorching punch, and Azure and Magenta slashed at the others. But from the shadow of one rope emerged Leberblume.
Shouts emerged from the crowd below, as the people there began to regain control and flee. Above, Leberblume melted back into shadow, and slithered across Magia Azure.
Azure's body went rigid, and her right foot disappeared. An illusion, with nothing beneath it. Then she grinned, and swung her blade towards Magia Sulfur.
The golden arms crumbled in an instant. Sulfur raised a normal-sized hand between them and conjured a shield into Azure's path. Azure's ice sword crashed into it and shattered.
Another shockwave exploded from Loco Musica. It struck Sulfur from behind, hurling her into her barrier, and it in turn into Magia Azure. Leberblume emerged from Azure's body and groaned.
"Fuckin' hell, Loco! What was that for?"
"Don't get in my way, Leber!"
The important thing was that two of the magical girls were busy. Magia Baiser directed the monster's attention to the third.
Before Sulfur or Azure could regain their bearings, a pair of ropes coiled around Magia Magenta's ankles and tore her out of the sky. She raised her spear to strike, but more ropes went to her hands, seizing her wrists and peeling the weapon away. The monster pulled her down, into itself, into the mass of ropes at the center of its body.
"Let me go!" Magenta shouted.
Rage spread across Sulfur's face. Her arms blazed gold once more, and she dove down towards the monster.
Trying to get more of them probably wasn't practical. But that was fine. One magical girl was enough.
Baiser opened a portal behind the monster, as large as she could make it, and commanded it to flee. As it began to wind itself through the portal, she flew into Sulfur's path herself and raised her riding crop.
An enormous fist crashed into her, bones snapping beneath it as the impact flung her aside. But she'd bought enough time. The monster was through the portal, and neither Sulfur nor Azure had followed.
"GIVE HER BACK!" Sulfur roared.
"Aha... You know I can't do that." Baiser flew back, left hand gripping her side as she waved the right to create a portal. "But make sure you don't miss our stream!"
Before Sulfur could respond, she flew through the portal.
She was back outside Nacht Base. The monster stood next to her, Magenta still buried in its coils.
Baiser swore she could hear something - a faint noise.
Tap-tap-tap.
Was it coming from the monster?
The third portal interrupted her thoughts. Loco and Leber tumbled out, glaring at each other as they stood.
"Well, it worked," Leberblume remarked. "Let's do this."
Magenta's shaky reply was barely audible. "D-Do what?"
"I'm sure you've figured it out by now," Baiser purred. "You've run out of ways to fight back, haven't you?"
"A-A magical girl always has a way to win!" Magenta insisted.
Baiser leaned in, and her face spread in a grin. "Do you, now? Well, if you're not about to show us, we may as well get moving."
The group entered the building - a slower process for the monster, just like before. Inside floated Venalita.
"Well done, Magia Baiser!" Venalita inspected the mass of ropes. "Magia Magenta, right? Looks like we're about to complete the set!"
"Yes," Baiser confirmed. "Vena, would you lead the way?"
Vena took them to the room it had prepared. As promised, everything else they needed was there.
Baiser directed the monster to release Magenta's left wrist, then shackled it to the wall. Then the right wrist, then one ankle, then the other.
With Magenta fully restrained, Baiser released her hold on the monster, allowing it to collapse back into ordinary rope. She took the rope, and secured the final shackle around Magenta's neck.
"Venalita? Would you start recording?"
"Hey, Baiser?" Leberblume asked. "Are you sure streaming this is a good idea?"
"Of course!" Baiser insisted. "Once people see this, it'll break the will of every magical girl in the country!"
Not that they were actually in Japan right now - or on Earth at all. According to Venalita, Nacht Base was in a small sub-dimension only Enormita's portals could access. Which meant no matter how long they took, the rest of Tres Magia wouldn't interfere.
"We... we'll never give up!" Magia Magenta shouted.
Loco ignored her. "It's a great idea! Vena, go for it!"
"I concur." Venalita raised its phone. "We'll be live in in three... two... one... now."
Baiser steeled her nerves. A villain had no need for stage fright. After all, the whole purpose was to make everyone hate her.
"Welcome, viewers!" she announced. "Live from Enormita's stronghold, our villainous organization has just captured one of the most beloved magical girls around. Say hi, Magia Magenta!"
"I-I..." Magenta swallowed. "No matter what you see, don't give up! Any of you!"
"How brave," Baiser remarked. "Let's see how well your resolve holds up!"
She seized Magenta's dress and tore it away, followed by each layer beneath. Magenta reddened as she became more and more exposed, and tried unsuccessfully to move enough to cover herself up.
"I-It doesn't matter!" Magenta insisted. "A magical girl is strong enough to handle anything!"
Baiser turned back to the camera. "You hear that, everyone? Everything that's about to happen, Magia Magenta thinks a magical girl can handle it. Let's see if you agree!"
A bench held the last two items she'd requested. Baiser picked up one of them - a bright purple vibrating dildo. She returned to Magia Magenta, inserted it into the hole between her legs, and turned it on.
"Ghk-!" Magenta sputtered.
"It feels good, doesn't it?" Baiser asked. "But such an unsightly display, for anyone to see... it's not very befitting of a magical girl. Right?"
"We just passed two thousand viewers," Venalita reported. "And it's climbing fast!"
"I-I told you!" Magenta insisted. "I can handle whatever happens!"
"So much conviction. But now it's time for something that won't feel so good."
Magia Baiser picked up the last item. A chainsaw.
"If you have any way to get out of here in one piece, I do believe this is your last chance."
She couldn't outright encourage a magical girl. What she could do was taunt them, and hope they'd rise to the challenge.
"I..." Magenta's eyes frantically darted around, then flinched at the vibrator's buzzing. "I..."
Did she have an idea? All Baiser could do was believe in her.
"You hold your wand in your right hand, don't you? Let's start there."
Baiser raised the chainsaw, above Magenta's right shoulder.
"N-No!" Magenta pleaded. "Please!"
"Now, now. That's no way for a magical girl to talk, is it?"
She couldn't hesitate any longer. She turned on the chainsaw, then lowered it into Magenta's flesh.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!"
The whirling teeth cut past skin and muscle and bit deep into bone. This was... it was so wrong, but the feeling of inflicting this much pain...
And she had to, right? She had to protect herself, to stay in a position to take down Lord Enorme. And she had to show the other magical girls something so awful that they would join forces against Enormita.
So, if she enjoyed it a bit too much... that was fine, right?
The arm fell away, dangling only by its shackle. Blood poured down, from both the arm and Magenta's shoulder - which retained barely a stump of the limb.
"Now, it would be inconvenient for you to die of blood loss, wouldn't it? So let's take a moment to tidy things up."
Leberblume handed her a roll of bandages. Baiser dressed the wound, and Magenta flinched from her touch as she worked.
"There we go. You're feeling better, aren't you?"
Magenta whimpered.
"Good. Then let's continue."
Magia Baiser raised the chainsaw a second time, set it over Magenta's left shoulder, and turned it on.

Chapter 8: End of the Line
Magenta stared at the arm hanging to her right. It... couldn't be real. Could it?
She was supposed to just wake up and realize none of this had happened. Except... how could she think like that, after what had happened to Sulfur and Azure?
Her train of thought broke as the chainsaw bit into her left shoulder. She wanted to scream, but she'd screamed so much already - her throat was too raw to make any real sound.
Magia Baiser had dared her to find a way to break out. Magical girls were always supposed to find a way out. But how could she do that from here?
The grinding sound softened, then abated. To her left, her other arm dangled from its shackle. Both of them now reduced to useless stumps.
And still the buzzing from her private parts continued. Making it even harder to think, making her look even more undignified. In front of... how many people, now?
She could look left, she could look right, she could look down. But she couldn't bear to look forward, at the camera.
Magia Baiser bandaged her left shoulder, just like the right. Just like Magenta had done for Azure.
Only three shackles still held her. The two on her ankles, and the one on her neck.
"You really don't have anything else you can do, do you?" Baiser taunted.
"
Please...
" Magenta rasped out. "
Stop...
"
Baiser let out a mad laugh. "I told you, that's now how this works! Now, if you're not going to resist... do you have a favorite leg?"
Magenta tried to squeeze her legs together, tried to clench arms she no longer had. She... she was just going to keep doing this, wasn't she? In an hour, how much of her would be left?
"I guess the order doesn't make much difference! Let's see... Figs, carrots, peppers and mushrooms..."
"Just cut her already!" the idol villain jeered. What did Sulfur say her name was? Loco Musical?
"Okay, okay. Left it is!"
Baiser set the chainsaw by the top of Magenta's left thigh, and its terrible noise resumed.
This time, the pain was coming from... right near the buzzing, blending the sensations into a surreal mix. As her leg buckled, she tried to hold herself up with her right, but it was splayed too far to the side, leaving the bulk of the work to her neck.
The leg, too, fell away. More blood, blood was everywhere. Even with her magic at work, she felt light-headed.
Her magic... how much did she have left? If she ran out, if her transformation dropped, it was all over.
Was that the only difference she could make, now? Fighting to stay transformed as they carved away more and more? Was that the only victory she could hope for?
Magia Baiser finished bandaging her leg, then stood. The two of them locked eyes, and... something flickered across Baiser's expression. A momentary crack, before her grin returned.
"Anyway!" Baiser announced. "One more limb to go!"
The chainsaw bit into her one last time. Magenta shut her eyes, tried to block out the noise, the pain, the buzzing, everything.
And then it withdrew. The noise quieted, except for that awful buzzing.
Magenta opened her eyes and dared to look down. Both of her legs were on the floor. Now, all that held her up was the shackle around her neck.
"Don't worry," Baiser assured her. "Your body is really light now, so there won't be much weight on your neck. Aha, that'd be a great advertisement! This simple trick will let you lose 25 kilograms in less than an hour!"
25 kilograms? That was... about half her weight. Or... half of what she had weighed. Had she really just lost half of her body?
She'd probably lost half her height, too. What could she even do like this?
Something deep within her shook, then cracked. The light flowing through her began to dim. Her power... she was running out of the will to hold onto it.
Magia Baiser bandaged the last of the four stumps. Her eyes crossed what remained of Magenta's body, and she looked... disappointed.
"W-Well then! You're out of big pieces I can safely take, but there are all sorts of small ones left! Vena, are there any suggestions from the chat?"
"Let me check!" the fairy replied. "Hey, viewers - you heard our host, right? Let us know what body part Magia Magenta should lose next! Or, if you prefer, what she should
definitely not
lose next. We'll do our best to comply!"
Magenta's vision blurred. There had to be a way to stop this. Didn't there?
Between all the chatter, a soft sound prodded at her mind.
Tap-tap-tap.
Was it footsteps? She swore she'd heard a noise like this before, and recently.
"Okay!" Venalita announced. "Technically the
most
popular suggestion is Magenta's head, but for the most popular
practical
one..."
Wait. With all the magic here, it was hard to tell, but-
Something huge and purple burst into the room. A giant stuffed animal. It crashed into Magia Baiser, flinging her into Venalita. Behind it ran a young girl in a long dress and apron.
"What the FUCK?" Loco Musical shouted. "Who are you supposed to-"
The girl threw a dollhouse towards Loco Musical and Leberblume. It grew in the air, splitting open like a mouth to swallow them both. The stuffed animal hurled Magia Baiser into a wall, then joined the girl in approaching Magia Magenta.
Was she a new magical girl? No - her forehead was marked with Enormita's four-pointed star, and so were multiple parts of her outfit. But she was fighting Enormita. What was going on?
The girl put her hands out under Magenta. The stuffed animal swiped its paw at the chain holding her up, and it broke, dropping her into the girl's arms.
Magia Baiser got back to her feet. She raised her riding crop, but she looked... hesitant. To her side, Loco Musical and Leberblume emerged from the dollhouse, and it deflated back to its original size.
"Um..." Magenta got out. "I think we should... run?"
A portal appeared next to them, and the girl leaped into it.
The two of them emerged into... a living room. The creature followed, and the portal closed behind it.
The girl set Magenta down on the couch, then collapsed into a chair next to it. The stuffed animal shrunk into a small toy, and the girl's transformation faded. She... really was young - she had to be in elementary school.
"Th... thanks. Um..." It was awkward to ask a kid to do this, but she couldn't do it herself. "Could you... take that, uh, thing out of me?"
The kid got up, looking barely awake, and extracted the dripping object from between... where Magenta's legs had been. She walked out of sight, then returned without it, sat back down, and closed her eyes.
She was... taking a nap. Magenta couldn't blame her - doing enough magic could exhaust even a teenager. And... she was tired, too.
If the girl was willing to reveal her face, there was no need for Magenta to bother hiding hers. She released her transformation and returned to being Hanabishi Haruka.
Or... half of Hanabishi Haruka. She had her clothes back on, but her sleeves and skirt lay empty, no limbs within.
What was she going to do? Nothing right now, she supposed. She closed her eyes and dozed off as well.
Her mind drifted into an unpleasant haze. Haruka found herself kneeling naked in a puddle of blood, her body too heavy to lift.
A figure floated down towards her, wreathed in a pink glow. Magia Magenta sat down in front of her and offered a warm smile.
"I..." Haruka began. "I'm sorry, I can't..."
"Don't worry," Magenta assured her. "I'll look after you, like always."
Haruka nodded. "Ah... okay. Thanks..."
Magenta walked to Haruka's side, scooped her up in her arms, and rose back into the air.
Haruka's eyes opened. She'd... been dreaming, that was all. The only reason she'd allowed herself to think she still had limbs.
How much time had passed? Half an hour? There was no sign of anyone else in the house, or at least any room she could see or hear from the couch.
Eventually, the girl awoke as well. She looked over at Haruka and rose to her feet.
"Ah... hello," Haruka said. "I'm... Hanabishi Haruka. Or, uh... Magia Magenta. What should I call you?"
The girl nodded and grabbed a piece of paper. She wrote slowly and jerkily, then held up the results.
morino korisu
NEROALICE
"Morino Korisu," Haruka repeated. "Is it okay if I call you Korisu?"
Korisu nodded.
"I... guess you don't talk, huh?" Haruka asked.
Korisu shook her head.
"That's fine," Haruka said. "Um, I noticed the stars on your outfit. Are you... part of Enormita?"
Korisu shook her head.
"You did fight them, after all," Haruka admitted. "Did you, um... steal their magic?"
Korisu nodded.
"So... that was you earlier, wasn't it? You must have sneaked in through the portals."
Korisu nodded, more vigorously.
"Ah... that was really dangerous, you know? But it worked out, and you even rescued me. So... thanks."
Korisu nodded.
Haruka looked down at herself. "Um... would you be able to help me with a few more things?"
Korisu's eyes lit up, and she clasped her hands together.
It was a good thing she liked that idea, because "a few" was an understatement. "Okay. The first thing is... the bandages. They're probably really dirty by now, and I don't think I need them anymore. Actually, um... could you bring me to the bathroom first? It'll probably be easier to deal with them there."
Korisu nodded again, then went to Haruka's side and tried to lift her. She couldn't.
She stepped back and retrieved the four-pointed star that must have been her transformation item. That... could complicate things.
"Wait. If you transform, the others will be able to sense your presence. You'll have to set up a barrier to keep them from noticing. If I walk you through it, do you think you'll be able to do it?"
Korisu nodded, and transformed into Neroalice.
"Okay. So, the way Azure explained it to me is... You need to take something that can hold the magic, and touch it while you focus on the area you want to cover. Think of it like pulling a blanket over it, except rather than the actual space, it's over the... feeling of magic in the area. Does that make sense?"
Neroalice picked up a stuffed bunny and closed her eyes. The bunny began to glow light blue, and something felt different around them.
"I think that worked. You're a fast learner, Neroalice!"
Alice nodded. It really was impressive that she'd gotten so good with her powers this quickly.
She lifted Haruka again, successfully this time, and took her to the bathroom. She set her down, then lifted Haruka's skirt and started peeling away the bandages from what was left of her thighs.
The movement made it harder to ignore the pain. It would fade in time, but its cause would not.
Alice gave the spots a thoughtful look, took hold of the skirt again, and removed it. From there, she circled Haruka and began the more complicated process of removing the shirt.
Haruka leaned up as much as she could, but without legs to act as a counterweight, she couldn't do much. Alice set the shirt aside, then peeled off and disposed of the remaining bandages.
"Thanks. Um, next, could you... clean me off? Also I... kind of have to pee."
Alice finished undressing Haruka, then removed her own clothes. She turned on the shower, washed off Haruka's stumps, and continued to the rest of her body. Which... felt entirely too brief. There were supposed to be other things to wash.
Haruka was pretty sure she noticed Alice's... thing standing up. She tried not to think about that.
When they were done, Alice dried the two of them off and put her own clothes back on, then carried Haruka to the toilet and helped to keep her upright as she did her business. This was... so awkward.
Once that was dealt with, Alice moved her back to the floor and stepped away. She returned holding a diaper.
It... would probably be useful, Haruka supposed, as much as she didn't want to think about needing the option. It also fit surprisingly well.
Did Korisu just... have diapers sized for middle schoolers on hand? It had to be too big for Korisu herself, and Haruka hadn't seen anything to suggest she had any sisters. So far, no one else had shown up in the house at all - which was
very
fortunate.
Idle thoughts began to wander in an uncomfortable direction. Did Neroalice rescue her as soon as she had the chance, or did she... wait on purpose?
She was
not
going to ask. It would be insulting to someone who had helped her so much, and... she wasn't sure she wanted to know the answer.
Alice helped Haruka into a bright red dress, which... also fit better than she'd expected. She picked up Haruka once more, carried her to another room - a bedroom - and laid Haruka down on the bed that was probably Korisu's.
"I... really appreciate all of this. Um... what should we do now? Is your family coming home soon?"
Alice shook her head. She opened a box of toys and dug through it, then retrieved one. A small action figure in the form of a humanoid robot.
"Oh, that's cool! Do you like robots, Alice?"
Alice shrugged. She looked ambivalent - like she didn't particularly care.
So, then... why?
Alice held the robot in Haruka's view. Then she seized its right shoulder joint, and snapped it.
"Um... Alice? What are you doing?"
Alice turned the toy in her hands. She snapped off its other arm, then both of its legs.
She was... making it like Haruka. Was that a gesture of sympathy? It was a nice thought, but...
Alice dropped the robot's middle portion back into the box. She held onto its limbs.
Huh?
She held the robot's arms and legs between her hands, and closed her eyes. Her hands began to shine with blue light - and so did the toy limbs between them.
Alice opened her hands. No - the robot limbs pushed her hands open. They were growing.
She shifted her grip to hold them from below, like a pile of wood, as they continued to swell. Until...
They were about the same size as... the limbs she'd lost. This was... but they couldn't
work
, right? They weren't actual robot limbs, they were just plastic.
...And the stuffed animal that had attacked Magia Baiser was just fabric.
Alice set the right arm down next to Haruka and pushed it into place. Magic tingled against her skin - the skin that had grown to cover the spot where her arm had been - and the arm stayed in place.
It wasn't... she couldn't feel the arm. It was still just plastic. What was she supposed to do with it?
Alice didn't look concerned. She fixed the two legs in place, then the other arm.
"Um, thanks, but... I don't think I can move these?"
Alice frowned. She shook her head, then slowly nodded.
No, you can do it.
Alice had used magic to make them. Could she use magic to move them?
Haruka still felt so drained. She reached for the scraps of power within herself, and called on them to take hold of the plastic limbs. To... lift them, as if they were her own.
Slowly, the right arm began to rise. She still couldn't feel it, but she could see it moving as she'd wanted. She willed it to stop and clench into a fist, and it did.
"A-Alice, this... this really works, doesn't it?"
Alice nodded.
The next thing was to try to sit up. She focused on each of the four limbs and gradually moved them as she needed, while her remaining muscles worked to pull her upward, to an almost vertical-
Her grip broke. All four limbs slipped out of her hold - they split off from her body and fell back to the bed as Haruka collapsed back down.
"Agh... I..."
Alice arranged the limbs back around her, next to the stumps they'd attached to - but this time, she didn't attach them.
"You... want me to attach them?"
Alice nodded.
That sounded even more impossible. But... if Alice's magic could do that, maybe hers could, too.
Haruka thought back to how she'd connected her magic to the plastic limbs, and willed the connection to form anew. One by one, they leaped up like magnets and snapped into place.
Okay. She was... getting better at this. She tried again to sit up, slowly, keeping her hold on each limb steady. She folded her legs - not
her
legs, but they kind of were, now? - and... it worked. She was sitting.
She smiled at Alice. Alice nodded in approval.
Standing would be harder, but... she had to try it. Slowly, carefully, she moved to the side of the bed and dangled her legs off the edge.
She pushed forward and let her feet hit the ground. The impact... she wasn't ready for it. Her legs broke off, then her arms did the same. Haruka crashed down into a heap next to the bed.
"Owowow..."
Alice extracted Haruka from the pile, laid her on the floor, and set the limbs around her once more. This time, she didn't put them as close.
Haruka's shoulders were in reach, but this time, the dress lay between the legs and her hips. She called to the arms, first, then used them to grip the dress and lift it out of the way as she called the legs into place.
She was getting the hang of this. But it was so much to think about, so much energy when she was already exhausted. She pulled herself back to a sitting position, and used an arm to grip the side of the bed as she rose and slowly straightened her legs.
When she was fully vertical, she took a moment to steady herself, then released the bed. She was... standing.
That was enough for now. She could figure out walking some other time.
She lowered herself back into bed. When she was lying down again, she let go, and the limbs separated once more. Finally, she could catch her breath.
A sound came from somewhere else in the house. Was that... the front door opening?
Neroalice turned back into Morino Korisu. Korisu put a finger to her lips, and Haruka nodded. Then she left the room and closed the door.
Would that really be enough to keep her secret? If Korisu's family discovered Haruka, that could get... really weird. But she wasn't in a position to do much to conceal herself. All she could do was trust that Korisu knew what she was doing.
The plastic limbs around Haruka were still enlarged. Whatever their combined magic had accomplished, it didn't seem to require active maintenance.
Their magic. Haruka had so little of it right now. Even if she tried to transform, it wouldn't work.
Sorry,
Magia Magenta said.
I wish I could do more to help...
You've done plenty,
Haruka replied.
I know you'll be back soon.
I will,
Magenta promised.
And when you do... maybe then I can face the others again.
Haruka...
Azure began.
I-I know. I just... I'm not ready yet. You... saw what happened, didn't you?
We're not the same without you,
Sulfur said.
You gotta come back to us soon. Okay?
As soon as I can... In the meantime, you two stay safe.
Haruka let out a breath and returned her mind to her surroundings. She... could come back from this, she was sure of it.
But she wasn't ready yet. She'd have to leave it to them, until she was ready to emerge.
