I vote rather for new redaction of this story because tbh it's very difficult to follow. There is bunch of characters, many of them brief, a lot of small stories important for world creation but not for main story, lots of details blurring what's going on. As I love many of your previous stories, here I got lost very soon, too much of everything. But I like your writing.

Oh, I don't know if this was answered yet, but Why? Why did Sidney want to become meat? There doesn't seem to be an over population issue nor was her family in debt. So was there some fundamental issue that girl meat solved or was this just fun for her? And how did she get the idea in her head in the first place?

After her conversion, the answer could simply be "because girls taste delicious." But prior to that, no one would have known.

The official answer put out by her publicity team was that she once read a book of cannibal jokes and it inspired her but, through her research, my young protagonist comes to the conclusion that Sidney had a kink/fetish, a fact backed up by a woman who knew her better than anyone else. Unlike most people with that fantasy, however, she had the resources behind her to make it come true! 😁

Did her kink fetish have a time limit? She wanted this sooner rather then later. Why not wait until she was older, more lived and more curvy? I suspect it is because she specifically wanted to be eaten before beginning puberty? If so, I'm curious as to her reasoning on why that would make it more desirable or her meat more tasty.

How did Sidney persuade her father to allow this. Father's can be indulgent, but I doubt he started off with full support. Sidney would have had to ease her father into the idea. Then how did Sidney's mom/siblings/friends feel about it when Sidney first started acting weird to when she finally declared her true intentions.

How old was she when she decided to be meat and how long did it take to convince her family to support her. Then how long did it take to get the laws rewritten to decriminalize girlmeat. Then how long after it was made legal did Sidney wait before her big day? Then who actually ate her meat and what did they think being the first humans to consume girl meat? Who came up with the idea for the restaurant and how did they figure they'd have enough volunteers to keep it afloat? What are their profit margins, considering most of their stock is free!

Did Sidney's family tree end with her or were there other siblings. If there were, how did they feel about their sister. Did anyone expect the siblings to follow in Sidney's footsteps?

Did anyone keep a piece of Sidney as a souvenir? Ovary pendants/earrings, a womb purse, her head, a foot, her hair?

Oh, how does Sidney feel about other girls becoming meat? This is her fetish, sure, but does she think that all girls should be meat? If not, then only some should, like herself. But beyond herself did she have any idea that so many girls would want to follow in her footsteps that there would be official franchise restaurants dedicated to her?

Did Sidney do anything to prepare her fillet for consumption? Or did she think untouched was best? How did the chef who prepared her know how to cook girl meat, what side dishes and spices would complement her, and such, considering she was the first such dish prepared. Did the chef have whimsical names for the prepared dishes? At what point was the pussy renamed to fillet for a meat girl?

This reminds me of a time in my youth where I was encouraged to anonymously write to my school news letter about any questions I might have had. When the new letter was published, I found that the intent was to ask deeply personal questions about childhood pain and loneliness. One kid asked what he was supposed to do after his mom was died in a car accident and he was adopted by his aunt who treats him poorly. =(. But me, I misunderstood what I was supposed to do so completely, I asked random science questions that were bugging me about Pluto's orbit around the sun.

Some very good questions! Fortunately they are nearly all answered in across a few stories! But to summarise:

Sidney didn't have a time-limit per se, just "as soon as possible". It was a craving for her. She was harvested at 12 because that's when she got the relevant laws passed and it seemed nicely poetic to make it happen on her birthday. She would happily have been harvested at 8, 9 or 10 if it were possible. The laws were officially passed on the same day she became meat.

She was eight years old when she first got the idea into her head. Quite how she convinced her father is the one part I've not explored too deeply but essentially she had him wrapped around her little finger. Perhaps he thought at first if he just went along with it rather than trying to fight her, it would pass like any other whim, but it didn't!

Sidney's mum died shortly after she was born so she wasn't around to see what happened. Sidney had two significantly older brothers who were closer to each other in age and both well into their twenties when she died. The family continues through them.

Although friendly, easy going and sociable when she needed to be, Sidney only really had one close friend who originally wanted to campaign along side her bit her mother refused and Sidney carried on alone, leading to a sad estrangement.

As for other girls, she believed that every girl should have the right to be meat if that's what they wanted.

She was prepared by a number of different celebrity and top-rated chefs who each got to prepare a dish with a certain part of her meat that she allocated to them in advance after careful applications and vetting. The dishes were mostly, at that time, adaptations of existing dishes just swapping in Sidney meat instead of pork, beef or chicken.

The restaurants were her father's idea seeing a gap in the market that the new laws could be used to exploit. Sidney knew about the plans and was excited for them although he had promised her the name would include her friend's too, as a form of reconciliation. He did not keep that promise.

Those to eat her meat were family and invited guests, some who had been involved in the campaign in some way and others who were just celebrities willing to give their endorsement.

I think locks of her hair were kept by close family members and staff.

Since this is somewhat of a sidneyverse questions thread

I've been meaning to ask for a while if you'd be open for others to write stories placed in your universe, as some kind of a tribute. Whatever I write would obviously not be cannon unless you decide so, but I've had the idea of at least trying to write something like this for a little bit.

The story would happen slightly after Talking Turkey - Samantha's Last Christmas, so girl meat is still relatively young. It would be about introducing a concept of "aged girlmeat", where a girl is being converted into meat while being kept alive, to allow for innovative preparation methods that require the girl to be alive while being prepared, but take too long for a normal cooking process and wouldn't be legal to do to a live girl. The method would start as some kind of loophole in the existing laws and would be later on become regulated after some debate and scandals.

Anyway, I wanted to know if you'd be ok with that.
Especially since it's conceptually a bit more violent than your usual.
And if you inspired by the concept, of course feel free to use it. After all, I can't even guarantee I'll finish putting to words whatever I have in my head. Nor that it'll be good.

Hi :) Yes, totally open to others writing stories in my universe! There have been some great ones with ideas I have ended up adopting as canon. My only stipulation is that it is kept consensual. The idea of someone developing a new cooking method is intriguing for sure! Just to keep it within the universe if you're setting it early on, Roebuck Inc. have exclusive rights to processing girl-meat in the US for the first couple of decades so set your story in the UK or Europe 😊

I remember fondly the story where a trio of students devised a new method of cooking girls alive by stuffing the lady in a box full of coals with only her head sticking out. They won a contest and all, and went to a cooking school. Any chance of that cooking method, or the protagonists, being featured again some day?

Your whole universe is centered around the idea that the girls becoming meat has to be a voluntary process. So anything non-consensual would have to be something illegal.
And I was thinking on placing it in the UK, which is, if I remember well, where Samantha's story happens. It was more or less inspired by the legal framework you talked about in that story.
