    At the time I played it, I didn't realize just how precious or unique the game was.
    To begin with, it was a fairly standard adventure game where you clicked on different parts of an image to navigate between areas and converse with various characters;
    It was filled with extreme imagery—scenes of torture such as full-body piercing, uterine piercing, and being deep-fried alive;
    Yet, all of this took place within a pristine white palace. The women undergoing these torments (or perhaps it was just one woman; I can't quite recall) viewed the experience as a form of salvation or a similar religious concept; after enduring the torture, they wouldn't die but would instead be reborn, only to face further agony;
    The game concluded after a set number of days (I don't clearly remember the ending, but the progression was measured in days, with the game wrapping up on a specific day);
    The character models were quite detailed; there were no sexual scenes, nor do I recall seeing any male genitalia—I’m not even certain if the protagonist controlled by the player was male.
    What left the deepest impression on me was the atmosphere: pure and sacred.
    Also, I played the Chinese version.

    At the time, I didn't realize what a precious or unique game it was. Now, I would love to find it again and experience it once more.
