(1/3)

“Hey, Jen. You got a moment?” I spot my target just as she's leaving the mess hall, heading towards her room in the barracks, quickly catching up to her. “I gotta talk to you about something.”

“Hm? Sure.” The slightly shorter and younger purple-haired girl wearing the same camo-pattern bikini top and cargo shorts as I am nods with a shrug, getting the hint and following me as I keep walking towards her room, hurrying ahead to unlock the door and motion me in – not that I didn't have a master key, if I needed it. “What's up?”

“It's about your mission the other day. The one about that little noble girl. Jane, was it?”

“Yes..?” Jenna warily answers. By all rights she's not supposed to talk about that 'special' assignment she had, but by mentioning those details I've confirmed to her that I already know about it.

“You see, the police found a bullet casing at the scene. ...As well as some fingerprints. So it's only a matter of time before they – or Jane's parents – show up asking questions.”

“Well, fuck.”

That about sums it up. Some of our missions are more of the 'black' variety, we simply do what must be done, but that also means we can't have any scrutiny or investigations from outside. So it falls to the creatively-named 'blacker ops' to clean up after our operatives if someone screws up. Be that just purging some evidence or a crime scene ...or an operative.

“You know what that means, don't you?” Everyone here – myself included – knows the risks, which is why most people are very diligent about it, but apparently Jenna got careless, and with evidence as strong as that, that we couldn't get hold of before it was discovered, there's only one option.

“Immediate termination and disavowal of the offending operative.” Jenna answers in a resigned tone.

“Exactly.” I take a small step away from her, placing my hand on top of my gun. Jenna is unarmed right now, but even if she weren't, she'd have to assume I'd be quicker on the draw than most, to be tasked with something like this. “Are you going to make this difficult?”

“I... No.” Jenna finally shakes her head. “...Now what?”

I slightly relax, but still carefully keep a bit of distance to Jenna. “We always prefer if things look like an accident or suicide, rather than having to fabricate evidence and formally executing people. Less paperwork, you see.”

“Fair enough. Was that what happened to Cassie too?” Some two months ago during a lengthy cross-country run, Cassandra seemingly tripped, fell and drowned in a river after falling behind a bit early on. But now that I've told her this much, Jenna just has to add two and two.

“Yep. And no, even if you're about to die, I can't tell you about her final mission.” I pre-empt Jenna's question, and the girl pouts a little, before shrugging.

“Ah. Too bad.”

“But looks like, just like you, she forgot to remove some evidence from the scene, leaving us no other option.”

“Huh, I see. So, accident or suicide, hm...” Jenna pauses to think. She seems to be taking this rather well. Then again, whenever we go out, we're also supposed to be ready to kill ourselves rather than risk capture, so this just shows the training is working well. “Any suggestions?”

“Well, you could just hang yourself or shoot yourself with your own gun, without leaving any note, so we can just attribute it to stress, depression or trauma. But if we get too many of those cases it's still gonna make us look bad.”

“You know, right before I killed Jane, she was surprisingly horny, and actually asked me to let her get off one last time before I shot her. Um... think I could do that too?” Jenna asks in a low voice, blushing and looking to the side.

“Sure.” I shrug. “As far as last requests go this one's reasonable enough. Actually... Have you heard of autoerotic asphyxiation before?”

“Like, you choke yourself and it's supposed to make your orgasms feel extra good? Is that really a thing?”

“Well, wouldn't you like to find out? Because I think a tragic 'accident' while you're busy enjoying yourself like that sounds like quite the way to go out, doesn't it? And you'd get to get yourself off one last time.”

“That... makes sense, I guess.” Jenna reflexively reaches up to her neck with one hand, visibly swallowing. “Y-you think that's actually gonna work?”

“Beats me.” I admit. “Only to one way to find out, no? ...Are you ready?”

“As ready as I'll ever be.” Jenna sighs. “Um... how should I...”

“Good question.” I look around the small, practically furnished room, before noting the bathroom door, the doorknob to be specific. “Over there. You got a scarf or a rope or something?”

“Hm...” After thinking for a bit, Jenna turns to her dresser and quickly searches out a simple fluffy scarf. “W-would this work?”
