Hey, don't be scared or dissuaded from doing a story with characters you don't know or a setting you unfamiliar with, one of the reasons for this board is to look into games and shows that are new to you. I made a story with Hat Kid and The Snatcher from "A Hat in Time", despite the only things I knew about it up to that point was that "A Hat in Time" was a game and the designs of Hat Kid and The Snatcher.

A read of the characters respective wiki and maybe a visit to TV Tropes is all that you'll need.
