The final evening of Sofia Camejo's life was unseasonably warm. At approximately 10:25PM the young latina, dressed in a pair of jean short shorts that left very little to the imagination and a bright pink tank top that curved around her budding adolescent chest, snuck out of her house as her parents slept. Within her backpack was a roll of toilet paper and a carton of eggs. As the girl jogged down the street, she giggled to herself. Her target was her math teacher, Mrs. Matheson, who had singled her out last week for failing to turn in homework. She blushed again, remembering the humiliation and renewed her desire for revenge.

Around 10:30, a man drove through Sofia's neighbourhood in a stolen Mercury, a tingling desire within his soul. It had been a year since his last victim, and his old trophies no longer provided the thrills they once did. He turned his car onto Olympia Drive and saw a young girl walking alone, her beautiful long brunette hair flouncing as she skipped under the orange glow of sodium street lights. The girl turned as his headlights flashed. He rolled down his window, one hand surreptitiously reaching down for the knife as Sofia walked over, oblivious to her impending doom.

"Hey mister, can you give me a ride?"

The man smiled disarmingly.

"Anything for a cutie like you".

She opened the passenger door and he pounced, grabbing her by the collar and pulling her close. The knife was in his other hand and it struck, the blade slipping in between her ribcage and piercing her right lung. She grasped at the wound, her pouty little lips open in shock. He grasped her shoulder and turned her around, his hand covering her mouth to muffle her screams. The knife went into her soft belly once, twice, three times, then slashed horizontally, bisecting her exposed belly button. Her intestines oozed out of the gash, blood pooling in her lap. As Sofia's vision darkened, she made one final weak attempt to fight off the knife, but the shock got to her. As the man continued to slice open her abdomen, Sofia Camejo's eyes closed for the last time.

In under a minute, a cheerful young girl was transformed into a lump of meat.
