Well, both prompts struck me as pretty similar. Both feature a king, for starters, one who's evidently been around for a while. The previous anon's story saw the heroine bearing children for the protagonist before being snuffed. The present prompt has the heroine's mother getting snuffed before passing the torch to her.

Rather than rewrite the previous anon's piece, I think there's ample room to do the current prompt as a sequel to the previous.
