I screamed, a raw, ragged sound that was swallowed by the darkness. I scrambled, bracing my bare feet against the floor and pulling back with all my might. The effort only made the spikes bite deeper, sending lances of pure agony through me. My eyes, now adjusted to the gloom, could make out the source of the chains. They ran through a series of guides toward a pair of large, industrial rollers, covered in the same cruel spikes as the clamp on my body. The rollers were turning, slowly but inexorably, pulling the chains, pulling me. I was being fed, genitals first, into a monstrous press. Desperation gave way to a primal terror. I was going to be torn apart, crushed slowly and intimately by this diabolical machine. My gaze darted wildly around the small, dark chamber, searching for any escape, any miracle.

And there it was. Barely visible in the darkness, an old handsaw lay next to me. It was very old. Its teeth were pitted and worn, more like jagged stones than a cutting edge.."
