Hello Dolcett Fans,

I know it has been a few months since my last story was published. The reason is (besides a break) I have been hard at work brainstorming, outlining, and drafting my next major project:

and if you want an example of someone who went on a goose chase trying to figure out how to prevent child pr0n from being uploaded altogether - you can take a look at the pomf2.lain.la guy. he ultimately couldn't prevent CP from getting uploaded despite deploying tons of countermeasures (including photoDNA). pedobears just used new methods each time. at best he could comply with legal take down requests

this kind of spam has been happening for over 20 years so its not like its a new thing either (you can even see some on archives of 4chan from 2005!)

The best way to make a system inconvenient to spammers is a closed one with registration, login and delay of first post permission. But this is of course nothing wanted on this board.
Something heading into this direction could be a whitelist. Although on an anonymous board a list of names makes no sense, a list of tripcodes could. It wouldn't help to spot spammers in the first place, but it would narrow down the amount of posts that have to be checked for spam by script or ‒ even more important ‒ by hand.
If the users are encouraged to use the (secure) tripcodes and the list grows with the time, an automatic filter can discard known posters from further checks, leaving only resisters and unknown or new posters to be checked and the latters to be added to the list if appropriate.
I don't know how much development time it would take, but i can imagine that the search system of the database program that is storing the posts already has the ability to perform such a task without too much efforts.

Is it a dedicated troll manually spamming or is it just the typical bot CP spam that imageboards often get? If it's the bots, try figuring out some traits of their connection (eg certain user agents, certain timing behavior) and "allow" uploads but just shadowban, so they think the upload succeeded. Anyone who’s deeply into this niche will agree: finding high-quality content with good anatomy and solid detail is nearly impossible now. Modern websites, controlled by corporate censorship and sensitive crowds, are wiping out the best pieces of art. It is literally on the verge of extinction, and that’s not an exaggeration.
I’m calling on the community old-timers who remember the good old days: please share the absolute best creations of all time here. Post those animations, visual novels, and hidden gems that are now almost entirely lost.
Let’s bring back independent art and give some inspiration to new creators.

I always try to avoid rash conclusions and doom. You say they "censored" the movie, but the movie description states:

"Based on a Suehiro Maruo manga, Midori was banned pretty much everywhere for years and the experience seemed to have put the director (also the animator) off so much, he moved from film to video games. A shame for movie fans because of the artistry on display here, even if some of the stills were replications from the manga."

I know nothing else about it, but this clearly seems to indicate the movie was banned for plagiarism and/or copyright infringement first and foremost.

Typically, if an author disappears, you never hear the reason. But don't assume it's always censorship. Just from the top of my head, one artist I knew was jailed for unrelated crimes, another lost family member(s) in an accident and didn't feel like drawing guro anymore, yet another got a job at a professional studio and wanted to avoid trouble. One got doxxed, I believe.

The payment issues are real, but not unique to guro. And not permanent, people will solve this, they always do.

I have a huge fetish for how an artist dies on stage. During his performance, in front of a loving audience, in the spotlight.
Help me find more of this.

Here are the examples I know:
1 Movie "Ronin" with Katarina Witt — a figure skater gets shot during her benefit.
2 Movie "Silencers" — a secret agent disguised as a singer and dancer is shot during her dance. This movie is known for another sexualized death, but this one, as for me, is no less good.
3 Anime "Lupin the iiird: daisuke jigen's gravestone" — the singer is killed during her concert.
