have been thinking of experimenting with drugs for a while now, which is probably not the greatest ideas considering my history with mental health, but it would also fulfill a lot of subconscious desires. so… as of now, psychotic episodes. i've had vivid hallucinations of shadowed figures appearing in imaginary doorways, things creeping along walls, and incoherent whisperings. it's genuinely terrifying… you can't escape it, and you can feel the sense of dread and fear overwhelm you. it's destabilizing, and it's been contributing to my steady decline..

Generally speaking, I wouldnt recommend doing anything unprescribed. Get to a doctor and tell them about the episodes and hallucinations/whispers (probably leave out the guro part for good measure) and have them prescribe something for you. It wouldn't really be a good idea to add to the problem with things that would make it way worse. By speaking up you can prevent alot and thank you for saying something here. :)

I've talked to a few of my girlfriends about this stuff at different times in some depth, as well as a few close friends. Although they weren't into guro they were totally fine with it, even slightly into the idea, and it was good to "share my dark side" as you say. If you've told no one that can be difficult to handle, but the solution to that is just to tell someone, even if it's not easy. If people like and trust you, and are open-minded, they may be a lot more chill with this kind of thing than you might expect.

I have yet to run into someone irl who is into this stuff specifically, though I came very close one time—someone I never met who my best friend hooked up with. But I think it's totally reasonable to expect to meet people who are into this irl. It will just take time and initiative and being open with your partners, just like if you were into any other obscure fetish and wanted to find someone else who was into it. You're never going to be on the radar or hear about many though if you aren't open about it with anyone you know to start off.

Also it's not hard to meet people on this site in /rp or even in /dis, or in the IRC, or in the steam group, or in any other guro-related site or page such as rp/chat sites—often people on there are glad to chat rather than rp and are not going to be expecting some high-literate rp'er or something. Gurochan is far from the only place where guro exists.

Astrid ran through the woods in fear. Ever sense Hiccup had shown the world that you could tame the beasts, she had fallen in love with dragons. But now she remembered the terror she felt in her teenage years. The terror of being hunted by these monsters

The other dragons imitated the cry before sinking their teeth into Astraids muscular belly. She screamed in pain, coughing up blood as the dragons dug in. She kicked her strong legs, and tried to to pull them off but to no avail.

The viking begged tears streaming out of her blue eyes down her smooth face, though even if someone scared of the dragons there was no saving her at that point.
