Do you think a lot of "real life testimony" novels and books are actually just guro fics? For example all that stuff about former MKultra child slaves, "trauma programming", stories of elites doing human safaris or complex cannibalistic rituals.
Theyre supposed to be denunciations but ,I cant help but think they are used by guro fans as inspo\smut material.

After reading many /lit/ story and seeing various levels of details in guro and scat story being posted in /lit/
I thought it couldn't hurt to ask people here if you all have advice on what would be the right amount of details in describing the scene related to those scene itself, but not going overboard with it.?

Playing Gacha games there are some that have stories where they are completely explicit like Fate Grand Order where the lore indicates that there are Rapes, human sacrifices, Human Experiments and Cannibalism. (Consensual and Not Consented).

There are others that are more subtle and even more shady. The example that I have seen with the most interest are Kantai Collection and Azur Lane. In this second case, I have seen more focus from the Japanese and Chinese community to such an extent that you find Novels and Mangas where it is observed that I am not the only one who sees the murky background of the game, some examples:

I once more got upset that the board software renames the uploaded files. Although this is common for most boards, it is annoying when downloading a file. As long as the files are posted in the correct order and downloaded only for convenient reading the name change doesn't matter. But if files are saved to a collection the names become important, in particular when it comes to additions or order changes, since the filenames generated by the board are always ascending.

Fortunately the original file names are still available, but it takes some efforts to extract them from the website's source code to rename the saved files. It would be advantageous if the names were transported with the files as metadata so they can't get lost. This can be done in two ways. Information can be visible for the consumer and can be embedded inside the file to grant programs access to it, e.g. for scripted renaming.

For the viewers of pictures a visible little mark with the file number somewhere on the image would be helpful to keep the right viewing order. These marks can be found on most (printed) comic pages. Collectors could be made happy with exif information embedded inside the images. The most famous swiss knife for this task is the ExifTool by Phil Harvey (exiftool.org).

In videos the opening and/or closing credits would be the right place for metadata. We all know this from the movies. The well known VLC Media Player (www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html) can also be used to change the metadata inside of video files.

Audio files would sound a little funny with audible metadata, but beside the computer readable information an icon can be embedded. This usually shows the cover, which names the title and – if necessary – also the volume. Audacity (www.audacityteam.org) can be used for editing audio files and their metadata.

Last but not least I have an ingenious hint to make text files more informative. The special feature in this case is that help for both – readers and collectors – can be provided with only one single action. Just place an additional line at the beginning or/and the end of the texts. Of course you can add more than only one line. Here is your favorite text editor the tool of choice.

The minimum information that should be provided are the title of the work – which does not necessarily have to be the name of the file(s) –, the consecutive numbers and derived from this the consecutively numbered file names. Additional information can be the creation date and where us
