    This kinda then raises the question, "what is the worst suffering neurologically possible?" I think some forms of mental suffering might be mutually exclusive. For example, some might require intellectual awareness while others might annihilate intellectual awareness. But then... maybe these things can be experienced at the same time. Some exotic states of mind are probably possible. States of mind that can be naturally experienced probably make up only a small subset of states of mind that can be artificially induced. I think we lack words to describe most experiences a human mind can have.

    Such a facility would also need to find ways to evaluate what a prisoner is experiencing. I think there would need to be some ways for torturers to torture themselves. Most testing would be performed on human guinea pigs who would describe their experiences, but torturers would need to experience some tortures themselves - and study the science behind the tortures - to prevent the guinea pigs from lying. Maybe also testing tortures would be a way for torturers to move up the ranks, like a form of initiation.

    Maybe some brave, coed revolutionaries fight to bring down this world, forming clandestine cells and organizing regular people and performing acts of sabotage, but some of them get caught and tortured, and some get forced to become guinea pigs, and maybe some others infiltrate the torture facilities as workers in an attempt to rescue their comrades.

    Has there been any recent guro hentai movies at all, or like anime with sexual guro, like in the past 5 years or so? I see Euphoria mentioned a lot, but tbh that one feels more edgy and cringe than 'guro/horror'.

    Any others that people are aware of? Maybe some that flew under the radar, but have some good gorey scenes?

    It's unfortunate that it seems like the sheer amount good guro hentai movies are becoming less and less in modern times. Used to be back in the 80s and 90s that hentai and even anime movies with sex scenes depicting girls being torn apart by monsters or tentacles was a pretty regular thing.

    Guess people are just too damn sensitive nowadays... who knew.

    "Guro hentai movies" have never really existed. Lots of anime produced in the 80s and 90s had ero-guro influences, sure, but there weren't many, or any, anime films made to be used solely as guro fapflicks. I think what you're referring to are barely censored, over the top OVAs that were pretty common place around the time of the Japanese economic bubble. You're right about there not being many guro scenes in Japanese animated shows/films these days, but hey, that's the way it is. There are tons of animated guro scenes that take place in older anime series/OVAs that I'm sure you've never seen before. There's enough old guro to satiate your lust until newer scenes come out (and yes, there are still guro scenes in anime).

    The types of scenes posted above usually had a single, incredibly talented, animator behind them. I'm willing to bet you miss well animated body horror/grotesque scenes, right? Well, most of the sakuga anime scenes done by professional studios usually want their high-end anime talent, animating something that most of the world doesn't find completely putrid and immoral. The reason why there's a lack of "guro hentai movies" is because they're simply not marketable, in an era where people like "clean" anime. What you want is a niche within a niche.

    This probably doesn't deserve its own thread but fuck it, it's been one of those nights where I sit in the dark and think to myself "where did all the chats go?"
    Why don't you guys use the IRC? Why aren't there more spaces on the internet to share/talk about guro? I joined that gurochan discord not too long ago, but it sucked, no one talked in it. But honestly discord blows anyway, I'd rather be on paltalk or tinychat, something a little less personal and more comfortable. Cmon guys, there are some chat sites that dont even require an account, just a username. Since this community's so scattered and clearly operating at different times, maybe we could have a chat at a specific time, like a meeting.     GUROchan's own discord server isn't meant to be a chat place for obvious reasons ("sadistic" topics are banned according to Discords TOS. Discord doesn't take action on this as I hear, but there is no guarantee it will continue not taking any), but it's linked with the official IRC

    I have come to report that our registrar for guro.wtf (namecheap) has been heavily censoring us recently. They started off with removing our loliboard domain, and now they removed our file hosting domain for another site, and gave us a warning for this one.

    Gurochan will not be censored by over-zealous corporate hacks who try and take it down at every turn. We will continue keeping this site alive by buying fallback domains, and fighting lawsuits when they come.

    I think I've been attracted to this stuff for as long as I can remember. I used to love children's horror stories, and those cautionary tales. And the billy 'poems' that were going around, like:

    I think it's from associating sex with rituals. Before puberty I would watch a lot of horror shows, and a lot of them involved, witch or magicians capturing women, turning them into stones ,doll, frozen in ice or ritualistic sacrifices to gain eternal youth etc. So after hitting puberty, i would fantasize about that sort of stuffs.
    I was also religious, so seeing ritualistic sacrifices in public during Eid and hearing the story of Ibrahim(Abraham) attempting to sacrifice his son probably got me into Dolcett fantasy.

    I've noticed, in a lot of guro collections spread across the webs, they're all filled to the brim with oekaki art. Why is this? I'm aware of the older guard from the western oekaki communities drawing dirty/violent stuff on various drawing boards, but the Japanese guro oekaki drawings in these collections are always really well drawn (for a drawing-board image anyway). For the peeps that have been lurking this site for longer than just this iteration, could you provide any insight on where all these drawings might've spawned from? If you're still not aware of what I'm referring to, the huge archive of 2006-2010 era /g/ is the best example; that collection is absolutely FILLED with oekaki drawings, along with deviantART, LJ, sheezyart, etc. guro art. Right now my hunch is the oekaki guro images originate from Futaba, with a mix of notable guro artists (like for example, Uziga Waita) hosting personal webpages with oekaki BBS open for fans to draw whatever fantasies they wanted to on it. Now I think the latter would make a lot of sense, since if I'm not mistaken, Futaba doesn't have any NSFW oekaki board intended for guro. I know some Japanese users lurk this site, maybe they could spare some info? Anyhow, I'm going off on a tangent, cheers GUROchan. (´∇`)
