For some reason, even though I added the info to the pseud during its creation, it doesn't show up when you click on it, so I had to put it in the core username profile.



(AO3 has something kind of like twitter where you can have "pseudonyms" for different fandoms, etc. It still shows the core username, though, which is why I keep an entire separate account for the really gross stuff/interacting with chans. So eventually I'll probably post the Flens Verpa stories in that account, but I'm still writing them.)

I have tried to email ASSTR to see what's going on, but haven't ever heard back.

Someone on another forum tried to register on ASSTR in March, and still got no response. It's a shame to see such a long-running and unrestricting site getting abandoned...

Try archiveofourown dot org. It allows literally anything as long as you tag it with some basic content warnings so other people can search for it and don't have to end up reading about, idk, shitting on someone's exposed internal organs, if they don't want to. It's supposed to be for fanfiction, but it does have an original work category, and if you're still worried you can name your main characters after anime characters (so long as it's not something obviously contradicting the setting, or if you tag it "Modern AU" or "Mundane AU").



You have to choose a rating for the work and warn for any "Underage," "Graphic Depictions of Violence," "Rape/Non-Con," and "Major Character Death," or "Choose Not to Warn," but there is no judgement from the site admins for using any of these tags, and you can choose to moderate comments if another user is being rude to you for it (which is very rare). It's also a really good idea to tag for other common squicks like scat, vomit, etc, so that people who don't like it don't have to see it and so people who do like it can actually find and read it, but it's not actually required. You do have to get an account, but you can use a throwaway yahoo email (lbr, you probably have one for pixiv or exhentai already), but turnaround for new account requests is pretty quick, and it means you can edit or add to your own stories at any time and bookmark your favorites.



If you've heard that AO3 is full of tumblr SJWs--it does tend to lean a bit liberal, but it doesn't get the sort of "I'm pretending I'm so good but I actually just want an excuse to be mean to people in ways that really aren't liberal at all" jerks that tumblr does. Most of the authors I know on AO3 are very good people who basically believe in not being dicks to people (except fictional ones), and the entire premise behind the site is freedom of expression for the most obscene fictional material possible. The only things that would get you taken down are posting spam, RL CP (for obvious reasons), repeatedly omitting the ratings or major content warnings (which, again, aren't censoring the work, they're for organizational purposes so the site search actually works), or actually harassing people (leaving lots of mean comments, being extremely racist or homophobic to a user personally [why would you even do that? if you're on this site, why are you judging anyone else], ignoring requests to go away, going after their friends or other people who commented on something they wrote

My serious answer: So, most of it depends on what kind of debt it is. I think you introduced the debt to make sure that not shooting at all is not an option. However, I can't think of a situation where the death of a family member is better than the debt. So I would probably don't do anything and wait it out. I'd refuse to play along with this, I would choose the debt over possibly deadly injuring a family member.



I do understand the point of your dilemma, though. So if the deal was that both my wife and daughter were slowly and horribly tortured before my eyes until I shot one of them, I would shoot my wife, hoping she would survive and heal. I think it would be easier to explain shooting my wife to my daughter than explaining shooting our daughter to my wife.

This is pretty natural psychology, even if you take some animals you can see similar behavior if some animal will fell pain it will attack anyone in proximity. humans will behave in the exact same way if something happens they will attack someone at random in proximity.

I think ideally death should not be abolished entirely, but it should act as a teleporting system as when you die you get in the afterlife and then you just reappear in any place you want. but as penalty death will be pretty painful and not that easy to happen



or it could be reincarnation system but with the one catch, that baby will reach somehow autonomous age in a week and here your penalty is that you will be stuck in pretty helpless form for some time but you can impregnate anyone and make them give you a birth.



That way you avoid all problems of being stuck.



Without death, there will be no more good and evil in principle because everything, even pain becomes a good thing as it does nothing more than motivates you.

I would simply eliminate cancer. Cells would still occasionally mutate but it would simply be impossible for any type of tumor to evade the hosts immune system for any prolonged time, unless their immune system is in such a bad shape they would have died very very quickly anyway.



They say every living being will eventually develop cancer. It's just a matter of probability. Nowadays, most still don't live long enough, but as medicine progresses and becomes capable of delaying aging and fight more and more other diseases, the role of cancer will become worse and worse. In a hypothetical perfect world were all other diseases were stopped and no one would age, cancer would be responsible for 100% of the deaths, and still everyone would die.



Therefore eliminating cancer will free life from its greatest nemesis.
