    Hi. Would it be possible to also make Gurochan available as a hidden service? Access to the site is currently blocked from a number of areas, requiring some sort of VPN, and access via TOR is quite limited (most exit nodes are IP banned from posting right now)

    This would also mitigate against loss of the primary or fallback domains.

    GUROchan is using Kolyma Network's Spam Database, read about it here: https://spam.kolyma.org/

    Last night I tried disabling it altogether - meaning allowing all blacklisted IPs. Only in 5 minutes, we had around 20 spam posts. See this scene from our notifications server showing how bad the situation was after I disabled SpamDB at 2:28 AM: https://2ch.cx/src/1206.png
    It's impossible to run GUROchan without KolymaNET's SpamDB protection. I immediately put it back after noticing that.

    That said, it doesn't include all TOR IPs. About only a half is blocked because of intersection with IP range of a spam bot, so you can change your node until you find a working one.

    Also, please title your threads in the future. I am making an exception for this thread by not deleting it, but I don't want thread overview to be full of "No Title" threads.

    Illegal content linked in /g/ still appearing when "catalog" is pressed even though it seems to have been removed from regular view.     The only CP being spammed is in the same image that guy attaches in every thread of his. The link he posts is obviously some type of FBI honeypot. It's pure AIDS. It sucks that not only does he post the same boring image every time, it scares off a chunk of people that are scared shitless of the feds, despite the fact they really can't do anything to you if all you've done is view the image. Back in the early days of gurochan, or sites like 2kochan, it was way more common to see CP posted by actual pedos and not feds, so I guess this is why seemingly only people that have been around since the .net days aren't freaking out over this spam. Just remember, 99% of the time, feds only crack down on CP distributors, and the unlucky few that fall for their honeypots.
